Great place to go for a short stay, particularly if you like fishing. Lovely people running it. 3 showers for whole site that you have to slot 50ps into and cafe not open week days only downfall and why I wouldn't stay more than 2 nights

Lovely campsite. A little on the expensive side but the toilets and showers were clean so it was worth it for me.
Pity the dog rule isn't adhered to or enforced. We were woken by a dog at 6.55 am barking right outside our tent...the dog was from the opposite corner of the field and its owners just let it run wild the whole time. I have two labs (didn't take them) so it's not that I'm not a dog person, I just believe in consideration for others.

I would return though, the staff and facilities were lovely.

We’ve had a fabulous time! Lovely campsite with everything you need, clean showers and toilets, excellent pub / cafe, loads of pitch space in big camping fields. We don’t fish but if we did, the fisheries are brilliant. We’ll definitely be back!

Camped for three nights with my 3 children. It's the best site I have been too. The owners are just so kind and lovely and the spaces are plenty between pitches. The fishing lakes are unreal it's so good. The vending machine area and toilet/showers are immacate. Can't wait to return.

I visited today for a day ticket fishing session. The fishing pools were well presented and fully aerated. The fish I caught were all in very good condition and I'd definitely go back to try one of the other pools available. The bailiff/owner was also a pleasure to chat to.

A lively campsite with four fishing ponds full of fish. They have separate toilets and wash basins at the entrance to the camping field which was a huge plus point and they space out the pitches well so you aren't going to get someone pitch right next to you (I've had this happen loads over the years on other sites it's very weird). My only minor gripe would be the cost, 23 quid a night just to camp is a bit expensive, especially if you're doing a full weekend and you add on fishing and fire pit costs. Despite that I'll be going again. Better run than most campsites.
