From the moment we called up to book Christina was so helpful and welcoming.
The campsite is lovely with great shower/washing facilities, spacious and complimentary fire pits.
We forgot to bring our plates for the BBQ and Christina very kindly lent us some for the night. The next morning she gave us some great advise on what to visit and where to grab a bite to eat.
We have had a lovely stay and felt so welcome and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to camp in the Dorset area!

Liked: Fabulous! Friendly welcome, level site with shady and sunny areas, pitch where you like. Dog and child friendly. Fire pits. Large portaloo toilets and great showers. Take a torch.
Disliked: Nothing! A sign to identify the water tap in the main field would be good so that people don’t inadvertently pitch up in front of it would be good!

Liked: Owner were very friendly, free use of fire pits. Lovely forest walks. Was wasn't keen on the idea of portaloos but they were very clean and always toilet roll available. The showers were in portaloo cabins and they were brilliant. Best I've been to on a site. And even has baby facilities in each section. You can buy fire wood and kindling on site (bring cash) nice pub right by the entrance, close to lulworth cove. Really nice site.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was a large group that turned up on 7 cars and a van. They were not there for a calm camping trip as described on the site. They were there to party and did until the very early hours of the morning approx 4am. The owners did speak to them twice to which the would settle slightly. Once when they first arrived and once I heard him at 12:30 to turn the music off. I was glad we had no children with us.

Liked: Friendly welcome. Unmown wildflower patches dividing field and turf not mown too short so that even mown areas had wildflowers🥰. Sufficient level areas within gently undulating site. Clean toilets and site in general. Not crowded. Dog friendly - my dog made lots of friends with big and little humans and other dogs. Other campers friendly but not intrusive. Easy to find.
Disliked: One party were noisy until well into the morning and no-one on site to speak to them. I was a long way from them, but was still briefly disturbed. Perhaps a reminder on arrival of a suitable quiet period overnight. Short queues (less than 5 minutes) for toilets first thing.

Liked: Choose pitch, clean showers and toilets, great washing up area. Fire pits were amazing. The staff were really friendly, on site all the time. Close to the best beaches - I liked swanage, studland bay too busy
Disliked: That it wasn’t open monday - Thursday (weekends only)

Liked: The hosts were very friendly and very approachable. The site was well managed and very clean. Fantastic facilities (showers in particular were amazing, even better than my one at home). Location is perfect for local sites. We were a large, relatively young, group of friends and were made to feel very welcome and left to enjoy ourselves all weekend. Field itself had lots of room, didn't feel as though we were too close to any other groups. Couldn't have asked for much more would definitely recommend.
Disliked: It is relatively far from all the local grocery shops (5 minute drive, not walkable) so some sort of very basic amenity shop would be useful (shower gel, toothpaste, teabags etc.).

Liked: The owner greeted us as we arrived and gave us all the details. Loved the showers, toilets were nice and clean. Very relaxed site overall very positive stay.
Disliked: Unfortunately we pitched near the tyre swing which we didn’t see to begin with, children running around from there pitch the other side of the camp site was not ideal. Maybe you could advise families with children go near the swings and people who don’t have children to go the far side of the camp site for a more peaceful stay.

Liked: How there was plenty of space between pitches, the showers where great also having the private changing area right outside the shower was amazing. Campsite rules are Nicely abided so was really clean and quite by 11pm which meant you could get a full nights sleep.
