Cannock Chase Camping & Caravanning Club Site

The site itself was nice & well maintained. Downside to this site is the location, it's not within walking distance to anything really (40 minute walk to nearest pub) too far for us to walk with the dogs just for a drink & something to eat. 4 miles away from the chase visitor centre, cafe & forest walks so again too far for us to walk. You definitely need a car to visit anywhere from this site so not really good for motorhomes unless you are happy to keep leaving site in it to go anywhere. Definitely won't return 😕

A great visit. Clean and tidy facilities. Well maintained. The best ever dog walk. Great friendly staff. Brilliant place to visit with fab walks.

Great compact campsite, excellent shower/toilet facilities, spotless. The site never seemed busy, site staff were helpful and friendly. If you are in a tent try and get a pitch away from the road as it seems to be a favourite with motorbikes

Great little site well kept as you'd expect from a club site. Kids safe and happy. Clean facilities. The dog walk gate out the back of the site gives you traffic free access to plenty of local forest walks and you can also jump onto the red MTB trail, perfect 🚴👍🏻.
There's no shop on site or within walking distance so come stocked. Enjoy the peace of no mobile signal. One small negative. I will echo a couple of reviews that the guard dogs next door can wake you up.

I'm not sure there are any level pitches here at all. Had fun getting the caravan level!!
Bring some decent levelling kit and you should be good!!

Although we did not stay over night as visiting someone on site.. Did use the toilets etc.. Very clean toilets and showers.. Well maintained site Childrens play area.. Would recommend having a look at this.. Lots of useful information and phone numbers for things like takeaways etc on display

Nice surrounding hard standing pitch good but gras pitch not level and soft. Shower and toilet block excellent and manager friendly helpful.

Lovely site with friendly & helpful Wardens. Excellent facilities, as you would expect, from The Camping & Caravanning Club. Immediate access onto Cannock Chase with great walks, bridleways and cycle tracks. A super little site, we'll worth a visit, very popular so pre-book.
