We stayed here with our two children (4 and 2) and absolutely loved it - a lovely safe place to let kids roam about and some nice little additions for smaller ones (couple of toys and we saw a high chair though didn't need it personally). There's a well equipped communal area too and some short easy walks from the site.

We stayed in the garden yurt as the trip was a 30th birthday present, if we went back we would just camp as the facilities were really good and the pitches a nice distance apart, well cared for etc but the yurt was amazing, really cosy and a lovely view. It was just the right size for us (2 adults and 2 small children). Toilets and showers were clean and all working!

It was an attraction for us that there were no pets (allergies & previous bad experiences) but worth noting before you book if you're planning to bring a dog.

There were a couple of minor issues with the shower in the yurt area but I gather that's teething problems and the showers/washing up area in the main site were really good.

The site is next to a working airfield which again was an attraction to us and we spent a few hours at the (brilliant) museum, cafe and watching planes take off but you do get some noise during the day. It's also very near Charlecote Park which is worth a trip and ten minutes drive from Stratford. We only stayed two days but could easily have filled more.

The owners were really friendly, welcoming and helpful, we'd definitely stay again either glamping or camping.

Brilliant camp site, great facility’s that we’re spotlessly clean. Nice long grass separating pitches that were decently spaced for added privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Twitey’s Tipis, it is one of the best campsites we have stayed at. The way each pitch has been mowed out of the wild grass is really unique and a great idea as it gives a really private feel, still with plenty of space. Everything is extremely well organised and all the facilities are kept very clean. Will definitely be visiting again!

wonderful campsite, beautifully looked after wild meadow/grass surrounding each pitch so you feel super secluded. facilities are plentiful and clean, and all needs are thought of with a little shop for forgotten items such as body soaps or matches. 15 minute drive into stratford, and lots of lovely restaurants, antiques and walks locally. thanks for a lovely time!

Stayed here a year ago and realised I never wrote a review!

I really loved this campsite. It has such a lovely, peaceful and chilled vibe. We got an oversized pitch with a group of friends, and the pitch was huge. Very large and generous with the space and the flat grass pitch accommodated 7 of us nicely, with 3 tents, a gazebo and fire pit included. I'm looking to re-book with just myself and my partner but trying a few other sites first, will return some day but get a standard grass pitch instead.

I did have to wait for the showers mid-day both times, but the camp site was busy and the wait wasn't excessively long. There was 4 women's showers but some were locked so I assume they were out of order. The shower was nice once inside, kind of like a portable shower? Was warm and had a little private space outside where you could put your clothes/get dressed.
The facilities were clean and I never had to queue for the toilet so happy there, and there was washing up facilities and fridges/freezes to keep items cool too.

The shop was nicely stocked, bought a few ice creams there and staff were very friendly and polite.
The site was fairly quiet, but I think because the pitches are so far away from each other that even if our neighbours made noise we wouldn't really be able to hear them. Very chilled, relaxed vibes and so, so peaceful.

We parked in the car park and there were wheelbarrows available to help carry our items to the pitch. I do wish the price of the car park wasn't so expensive (£7 per day), it does put you off if you want to stay a longer time, and I don't know another site that charges you for having a car, but I understand the car park was quite small so I get wanting to reduce numbers there.

I would come back again eventually.

Our second visit to Twiteys Tipis and campsite over the Bank Holiday weekend and we had a wonderful time! Lots of space on each pitch, lots of space for the children to explore and play. Toilets and showers are basic, but clean and staff are lovely!

This place is great for those that want a wild camping experience but still want a shower in the morning.

Standard pitches are larger than expected and have enough room for two three man tents. The fire pits make for a great evening too.

One minor niggle was that there's no lights on the trail to the main toilet block from the upper meadow so take a torch, though when you get there be prepared for the flashing LED lights which ideally should be static.

Other things to be wary of include the sites refund policy. Even cancelling more than 30 days will cost you 10% of your booking which seems unreasonable considering that's plenty of time to allow for another booking. Similarly, look out for the car charge of £7 per night which is slightly steep.
