Sounded like a lovely site, booked 5 nights, paid £50 up front. Drove nearly 100 miles on a hot day. Got to Turning Lane drove up and down twice, no signs for Century House, rang 3 times, no answer. After 5.00pm, my wife is severely ill so we had to do something, she needed to lie down. Rang Caravan Club and they found us a pitch in Southport. Sorry cannot recommend Century House. To cap it all lost my £50 deposit.
Moral is if you don’t know the site, just book one night and you only loose £10!

A perfect place in my eyes! Well cut grass, they must collect the grass as they cut as no grass made it’s way into our van! The facilities were spotless at all times. The owner was lovely and smiley. The site wasn’t littered with does and dont’s! Very refreshing. Was very happy to pay for the shower £1 and I thought that pay as you go for electric was very fair. An easy walk to the bus stop with regular busses into Southport. Hopefully we will be back.

Beautiful little site. Really quiet and well kept. Facilities are clean. Wet room type set up, so both toilets were also showers, so plenty of space and both suitable for use for disabled guests.
Pay as you go electric hookup, takes £1 and £2 coins. Showers are £1 for 6 minutes.

Contrary to other reviews, found it first time with no problem. The CS sign is a little drop back from the road, so make sure to put 100 Turning Lane into your sat nav, google was spot on.

I'm sure we will be back!

As always a brilliant place with plenty of room for the Grandchildren to play. Very well kept & friendly. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay here at the end of September ... small, quiet site , very welcoming owners ... electric hook up pay as you go very reasonable , we used less than £2 over 6 days !
Easy drive into Southport and many other places to visit , market towns and beaches.

Nice quiet site. Services are immaculate. The site is divided into two areas. One for tents and one for caravans on serviced pitches. Will definitely come again but will make sure I have lots of pound coins for the electrics. I used my gas to save having to keep topping up.

Wonderful site, very clean and peaceful, staff friendly.
Stayed for 3 nights and suffered from a deluge of rain on the second afternoon- every campers nightmare, puddles everywhere but within an hour the ground had dried out - not something that is usually rated but the drainage definitely gets a 5 star rating.
Sat outside our tent each morning at 6am for my traditional coffee and watched a couple of herons fly over and a barn owl out looking for its breakfast - a beautiful start to the day. Thank you, we will be back !!
