Atlantic Horizons campsite

Liked: everything about Atlantic Horizons, we stayed in their tipi and it was incredible. Huge space for us and two older children (15 & 11). It had a dining table and sofa so eveb in one room everyone had space.amazing views, well equipped camping kitchen. Private eco washroom which was fantastic, cleaned regularly for you and the shower was amazing. They have an onsite bar at the weekends, sip & sea which has awesome drinks. Weekly cocktail and some of the cheapest drink prices too. As well as the pop up bar, local eateries who bring their food to the site most weekends too as food trucks, all of which is great! Its location makes it really easy to visit other parts of cornwall. We all loved it and will 100% be back.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Really freindly helpfull staff. Good easily accessible facilities. Lots of room with good views. Great location to access all the local national trust beaches/surfing.

Disliked: Bit windy at times (though this goes with the territory)! Sometimes traffic can be heard, though not much of a problem really.

Liked: Having own private toilet and shower right next to the bell tent was brilliant especially with young children.

Loads of space on our pitch and the pitches were spaced very well apart.
Use of freezer for ice blocks

Liked: We stayed in the geodesic stargazing pod for a girls weekend - we were gobsmacked from the second we arrived. The views we were able to see were beautiful - this was before we had managed to catch the stars, sunset or sunrise.

The owners were very helpful and accommodating, there was a real "homely" feel to the dome - beautifully decorated throughout.

Before we left, we had already began talks of our next visit!

Liked: The interior was clean and modern. There was a shower with lukewarm water and a fairly well equipped kitchen. We even got little goodie bags and a bucket of firewood. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
The views, especially at sunset, were great.

Disliked: It is a minimum 15 min drive to any beach, so if you don't have a car it would be challenging to get around. It is also 15 min away from the closest shop.

Liked: Absolutely everything , 2nd time here at Eastcott and will definitely be coming back again , easy to find , very quiet site with a view of the Atlantic ocean . Staff are very friendly and helpful , toilets and shower block are cleaned every day and are exceptional , fire pits are provided with a free bucket of wood . Local shops are only a 5 minute drive from the site , or around 10 minutes if you want a big supermarket , add another 5 minutes and it will take you to Widemouth Bay , lot's of things to see and do in the area . If you like the hustle and bustle of a big campsite with mediocre facilities and lot's of people then do not come here , if you like a campsite that is small ( 8 units for Glamping ) and around 5 or 6 pitches for camping , ideal for families , well looked after with very friendly staff and not too far from shops and beaches then this is the place you want .

Disliked: Nothing at all .

Liked: Star gazer tent- incredible set up, loads of space, camping but SO much better!
pop up bar and food trucks were such an added bonus- really made our weekend

Excellent glamping/camping. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming. The site is beautifully maintained and all of the facilities were lovely and clean. A great base to explore the north of Cornwall, with something to suit everyone. Thank you for a great stay!
