Lovely smaller course only a short walk from the town centre and roughly a mile from the railway station. Superb views of the track from the stands. Really friendly and helpful staff.

The caravan site is owned by the race course and to be honest is not your usual camc standard. Although the managers are very nice and keep the facilities spotless, the toilet block leaves a lot to be desired and a update is required. On the plus side you are 5 minutes walk from thirsk Market Place with a great choice of pubs, eateries and shops. A mile from the railway station and a fish and chip shop in Westgate about 3 minutes walk from the site.

What a great day. Bus down here frim newcastle with the lads. A few drinks in Thirsk before heading to the course. Some nice fella sold me a ticket half price on the turnstyles. Got in no bother👍 No bets for me today but had a good drink and laugh with the lads. Great facilities here, food, drink, live music, toilets. Was busy but wait times werent too bad theres so much choice. Curry n chips for me.....belter!! 👌 Few more drinks in town then bus back home to Walker for more drinking n dancing. Ahhh.....what a day 👌

Whilst the staff were very helpful and friendly it is let down by the facilties and constraints of the racecourse owners. The site is very well located for access to the town, it's a shame the C&M Club aren't able to improve the site or indeed find a more permanent local site.

Lovely flat and spacious pitches. A lovely welcome and clean facilities. Close to all amenities and a short stroll to Thirsk Town. A large Tesco across the road. Great shops and restaurants close by. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Been to this site before , I like the area and the racing , we didn't read full email explaining that on race days you move to the rally field we moved the day before , can see all the racing but no facilities ,only toilet dump and rubbish , however the wardens are really helpful the site isn't huge but that's ok , the site facilities are a bit dated and have spiders and daddy long legs but they do the job , it's a short walk to Thirsk ,there's some nice shops and pubs the James Herriot museum nice day out ,there are good walks as well , there is a wetherspoons we preferred the red bear nice pub and socialable ,you can get the bus to York , we went to Whitby and used the park and ride as it was very busy .well worth a visit .

Hi really disappointed with the wardens on this site change opening times due to queens passing Customer rang up yesterday and was told by wardens not to come on before 1 I think it's disgusting rules for one I find this warders very ingnorant and not very helpful and been coming here 42 years they are the wardens I have ever met they want to remember they are staff not the owners and without us they wouldn't have a job our friend told us it had to wait 3 hrs why could they not put a sign up and why did they not let anyone know they were changing their working hours bad management. Will be reporting them to head office

Stopped over on a Sunday night. So good to be able to walk into the town. Many places to eat even on Sun evening. We ate in the Golden Fleece, such a treat. We really enjoyed the Sunday roast.
