Liked: There's a good park for the kids. The pitch itself was in relatively good condition. The shop onsite was small but reasonably priced. In a good location. 10 mins drive to St Andrews. Beach and aldi is about a 15 min drive away

Disliked: When we first arrived the site manager Paul advised us that he had lost 3 members of staff and he was working alone and doing his best. It wasn't until we went to use the site facilities that we realised how bad they were. The cleanliness or lack of cleanliness was an absolute disgrace. There was 1 bin for the entire site which was at the far end next to the toilet block which meant there was litter left on the pitches and at the park. There's no real pitch allocation or parking as such which meant you were surrounded but other tents, campervans and cars. There was no pitch control at night meaning excessive noise even after midnight. After speaking to other campers that had visited the site before and had a lovely experience they were horrified what it was like now. The site manager had advised them that they are planning major renovation works to the site so if the grass got fire burned or other damage caused it was fine.
Would give cleanliness 0 if it allowed me

Liked: Family friendly. My daughter loved the play park. We were located really close to it so was ideal. Like the fact that there were showers and a dish washing area. Good location. We liked this site so much we decided to stay an extra night. Lots to do in and around the local area. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Much preferred it through the week. The weekend was a lot busier and a different vibe. Seemed a little more noisy which was fine for us but I don't think other campers would have appreciated the loud music so late on at night. All In all I would defo rebook with thus site.

Disliked: Showers and toilets need a little updating but the site is currently going through a big development so I'm sure this will be updated in time. Nothing I didn't really like in all honesty.

We had a good stay here! The pod we booked was comfy although I would say it would be a bit small for 4 people. Only two of us stayed here and we got upgraded to a bigger pod with no extra charge due to the rain which was great! It was warm all night and it had good lights inside and out. There was also a fridge, TV, kettle and outlets to charge phones. There was a nice view of the sea too! The only thing we disliked was the longish walk to the toilets and also no one there to greet us on arrival or check out. But apart from that it was a good stay.

Liked: Campsite was clean and well maintained. Good washing and showering facilities also. We don’t have kids but loved the fact there was the climbing frame and big football goals for them. Great location too, just outside St. Andrews but also good distance to Elie and Crail.

Disliked: No wifi

Liked: The pitch size and the ground quality for the tent pitch was good. The pitches were clean and grass was well kept. The location in relation to local attractions was good too though some of the roads are not great for wide vehicles or towing vans.

Disliked: The toilets were poor quality, cramped and dirty. Through the weekend there was rarely soap, toilet tissue or hand drying facilities in the women’s toilet and family toilets. The mend toilet according to my son and husband were dirty and inadequate quantity of stalls for the volume of guests. The water pressure was poor too.
The communal bin facilities and waste disposal were not great. Over flowing bins on a windy day on Sunday made for a less pleasant sight.
The site was busy and a little cramped, the electric hook up was over loaded on one of the nights making it difficult to boil a kettle. There were a number of campers who were loud and partied well into the night with the site only getting quiet after 2am. Children left unsupervised used rocks and a brick they found to hammer on the play equipment and run in front of vehicles.

Liked: Views, area, staff, good pitches, kids' play area. Felt safe for two kids with additional needs.

Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities really needing upgraded, no recycling, issues with hot water. One man show in terms of staffing, he was working his socks off but clearly needs more staff. Other guests could help by being more courteous and less messy.

Liked: We have liked the place as it was in the middle where we wanted to be.
Pitches were nice.
staff very friendly.
no issues with electric.
Nice play area for kids

Disliked: toilets and showers were dirty I do understand people are different some of them are clean and some are not but staff should clean them daily and we didn’t see anyone cleaning them the whole 4 days we were staying, there was poo marks on the wall in family bathroom the whole 4 days and loads of dust on the windows. Also don’t use family showers if the site is busy as water pressure is really bad when everyone washing pots.

Liked: Easy booking via pitch up. Easy check in process on arrival at camp. Nice play area.

Disliked: Facilities were pretty disgusting. Not cleaned at all the entire stay. Very run down-locks not working, multiple toilets out of order, plasterboard bubbling with water leakage, mould growing in shower cubicles. Shower curtains visibly dirty. Bin system non existent-a big skip for rubbish, no recycling facilities.
The pitches-a total free for all. We were told in arrival to pick any electric hook up. We had lovely neighbours hooked up next to us, but there was no boundary for the pitches, the 2nd night, we had a camper van on either side of us, practically on top on our guy ropes! The people were lovely, but the set up of the campsite is chaotic.
There is a big wide space for grass pitches in the middle of the campsite, but this was not being used, so a game of football was started at about 8pm at night-I have a 3 year old, who was totally baffled and scared by all the noise. No one on site to monitor what was happening (the football wasn’t really a problem, just more where it was being played?!)
