Liked: Lovely clean site with level pitches that were clearly defined. Nice clean and heated toilet and shower block with dish washing facilities. Showers were free and free flow taps with large overhead shower head. Very strong O2 signal. Good DTV had 31 channels incl HD, good reception. Very close to either walk into town or across the countryside alongside the railway tracks underneath the quarry site. Good value with EHU included. Owner greeted me on arrival and she was very helpful with advice on where to walk locally.

Disliked: No free wifi

Liked: What a lovely find, so close to the bustle of Zip World! Met with warm smiles and a friendly welcome, our pitch was ample in size and close to superb wash facilities!
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the addition of such things as a hairdryer and Radio 2 humming away in the background, were super touches.
Ten minutes to the rail station and a 40 minute drive to Betws Y Coed, we were ideally situated. We would highly recommend the site and will look to return when in the area again. Thank you Janet and John for your hospitality and for allowing us to share in your long awaited venture. ☺️

Liked: A very neat and tidy site that was beautifully presented. The facilities were great and felt very clean and fresh. The site was in a peaceful location and had only a small amount of pitches. Good distance from various popular locations in Wales. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Liked: Lovely site. We only booked about 3 hours prior to arrival as we were touring Wales in our campervan. Slightly awkward entrance but no problem if you're a competent driver. Probably the most level pitch we have stayed at. Very nice shower & toilet block, nothing has been overlooked. Dish washing area also excellent. Had to wander around to find somewhere to walk the dog but found a nice footpath down the road by crossing the railway line just 2 minutes walk from the site. Reasonable price that include facilities, EHU & freshwater. Very clean chemical disposal and waste & recycling area. Owner obviously takes great pride in her site as we saw her outside sweeping up at 10:30pm! 10 minute walk into town for fish and chips. We didn't use WiFi so cannot comment on that but 4G signal was excellent.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Very clean both in terms of facilities and pitch. Liked the stones on the pitches was much cleaner for us with a dog. Toilets and shows were lovely and nice and clean and warm. Loved the added touch of the radio playing in there. Owners were attentive and friendly. Have seen reviews about being in a housing estate and no walks for dogs but it's not an issue and its quiet. You know location when booking so wasnt a problem for us. Blaenau ffestiniog its self was not much going on other than Zip World which was great but it's a short drive to many other places for restaurants, sightseeing and shops. We would stay again.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike in our opinion

Liked: We loved our stay at Quarry View. John and Janet are the nicest people you could ever meet and they have put together an extremely nice park. The attention to detail is fantastic. Every spot looked good and we enjoyed a lovely stay. We were surrounded by some great scenery and had a very relaxed stay. Very handy for Zip World as it is only 5 mins walk. The town is a little quiet but has everything you need as a traveller. We visited Port Meirion nearby and Port Mathadog. The facilities in the park were great, very clean and well kept.

Liked: This is a little gem, having read previous reviews there were concerns of access but once done you realise its fine really, our 7m motorhome managed easily,, note follow their instructions for access, although the sign pointing to go UP Baltic Road was a bit faded at the time. We stayed a week, being Deaf and from South Wales and knowing some of the area from previous motorbike tours when younger, we took advantage of public transport further north as far as Llandudno (bus stops are very close up on the main road, request stops to drivers too), and Trains northwards again up to Llandudno both methods have nice scenery. The Station and town is 10 mins walk away, downhill but not too steep, with plenty of facilities which we used, liked the Kurdish bakery and Red Chillies and chip shop, plenty of cafes and pubs too. There is another regular bus from the Station to Porthmadog we took, but if you use a car etc there are plenty of good routes and other destination options. The Welsh Highland Railway trips run from here also. The site itself is cosy, laid out well with level pitches (water too) and has privacy with a view of slate surround that changes mood with the weather. Jan and John are very welcoming and helpful, we had some good chats, they have their Snowdonia Slate shop on site although the actual workshop is near town. The site is well maintained, the washing up area is cosy with plenty of local information, showers and toilets are very clean and warm. Tv and mobile reception was good. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return, diolch yn fawr.

Liked: Very modern and clean facilities. Small, family and dog friendly site which has beautiful surroundings. The owners are very friendly and helpful and will definitely be staying here again! Also it is walking distance to the town centre and also a short walk to zip world.

Disliked: Not really a dislike, but just to note that the turning/entry to the site is up a tight steep corner so can be a bit tricky but still manageable!
