Well kept, quiet and in a lovely location.

I was just visiting for one night. As I was entering the Holy Island SwimRun the next day, I needed somewhere to relax and have a good nights sleep.

The couple who run the site couldn't of been more welcoming. They live in a house right next to the site, so can be on hand to deal with noisy campsite guests - which is great if you've ever been kept up to the small hours by inconsiderate campers!

The toilet block is cosy, but probably one of the most well kept I've seen on any campsite. To top it off the location of the campsite right next to the waterside (behind a hedge and gate if you have little ones) is fantastic - with sunsets to die for.

If you're a well behaved camper who appreciates a quiet well run site, I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you want somewhere to get drunk into the small hours whilst your kids run amok, you're probably best looking elsewhere.

Brilliant site. Excellent location. Great pitches with lots of room. Hosts were very helpful and friendly..especially when my husband needed directions to the hospital

This is a fabulous site. We stayed one night ahead of a crossing to Ireland. Its in a beautiful location, seeming close to paddle boarding opportunities. It was quiet and clean with easy access to all facilities. The bathrooms and toilets seem brand new and were spotless. Showers good and warm. Washing up area is outside and covered. The owners were friendly and helpful. The site appears reasonably flat throughout, certainly we didn't need levellers on our pitch. The only thing I would say, even in these times, it is quite expensive. (Hence 4 stars). We paid £34 for one night for two people, with electric but no other extras. Still, check out the view 😊

We'll kept site with basic but spotless facilities. Best for caravans due to limited number of facilities but still enjoyed by lots of people in tents.
Direct access to the water for windsurfing, canoeing and paddle boarding.

Update 2022: facilities have been significantly upgraded and are now great for tents too.

I loved this place. What a great welcome and the facilities on site were superior to any other site I've visited. They were friendly enough to lend me a phone charger and the family seemed lovely. Access from the site to the estuary was perfect for me and my paddleboard. The dog also loved it... What a gem of a place to visit.

Perched right at the top of Anglesey between RAF Valley and the ferry terminal. Beautifully kept field with excellent facilities and plenty of space, the inland sea (I think an artificial lagoon) is just a few yards away through the back gate. No nearby shops but the local hotel is excellent for food.
