Seemed nice when i visited friends. Had a pool and top draw toilets.. what more could you ask for on a camp site!! In all seriousness it was a great place with a nice, friendly atmosphere

Here for two weeks, helpful wardens, lovely grounds well maintained. Pitches varied. Toilet block high standard. Daily mowing so far for short periods, really looking forward to the days of electric mowers 🤣. Surrounding areas - plenty to do. Well worth planning a holiday here.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely clean and tidy CAMC site. Not been to a bad one yet. Nice dog walking field. Beaches, coastal walks, towns within easy reach. Dog friendly. Plan to visit again very soon.

Lovely site, facilities block has been refurbished to a very high standard. The wardens do a terrific job, its just a shame the way some people leave the showers, toilets and dishwashing area. More work for the wardens. Would recommend this site.

Lovely site,wardens very friendly, excellent bathrooms only criticism only one central cartridge emptying area .Excellent dog run which my 3 really enjoyed.Bonus whilst we were there saw red squirrels.Lovely beaches nearby but needed car to reach as well as a few shops.

Ideal if your looking to put your feet up and relax. If you are in a motorhome with only bikes for transport, it's cut off from public transport so a little isolated. We rode our bikes to a nearby beach just 15 minutes along mostly 'B' Roads. There's a Tesco Express on route so stopped for provisions before returning to site. The site facilities are modern (around 2 years old) and very clean.

Stayed for a week in October, site is well kept, clean and pitches are all hard standing and fairly large, this is our second time stopping here, the site is within easy reach of a beach and the bridges over the Menai strait.

Fantastic site ,I have been touring for many years now but have never come across a toilet block like this one ,it's fantastic ,underfloor heating, a bath in the family room and it's spotless, well done Penros.. The only down side is it's a bit dark if you have to go out in the evening so take a torch with you ,but hey I was really impressed with this site
