Liked: Small site with great proximity to a fabulous beach. Very relaxed feel, a bit ‘rough and ready’ but we knew what to expect and our stay was fine. The passing trains added interest and were not disruptive to our stay.

Disliked: Toilet and shower doors need better locks. Sinks in each toilet would be a good idea as there are only two showers on site, one M and one F. Pitch markers would be helpful, too.

Liked: Basic but great. Friendly on arrival. We had from 11am Saturday until 3pm Sunday so theirs no rush to get off. Just me and my two children who are 5 and 6. Pitched up and had a look around. Showers were free due to the hot weather conditions, area for recycling was tidy and didn’t smell and toilets were simple but clean. 10 minute walk to the beach front with the little ones. Their is a train that goes past which was no issue for us.lovely views. As the evening went on people were respectful keeping the noise down and by 11 it was so peaceful. Tested the showers in the morning and no issues. Their is a plug in the shower block if you wanted to charge anything. Packed up and spent the day in aberdovey! Couldn’t of asked for a better camping trip. Thanks

Liked: The site is lovely and the owners friendly and approachable. Toilets and showers kept nice and clean. Great basic campsite and not too busy so not on top of each other. Great views and close to the bus stop and beach.

Disliked: Would prefer a lock on shower doors and also some pegs to hang clothes in the shower antechamber

Liked: Nice basic friendly site. August Bank Holiday camping as part of a group (14 people in 6 tents), we were able to pitch together without being cramped or crowded. The toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. Pot washing area with hot water. Great location - a short walk to the beach or if driving ample parking for only £2 a day. The beach was nice and clean. Only a short drive into Borth.

Disliked: Very close to a train line - woken up by the first train of the day just after 5am, not helped by a noisy group on site that were up until 2 - 3am.

Liked: Amazing place. We love it here. I don't really want to say how lovely it is - because everyone will want to go - and that is part of the beauty that it is not overcrowed. No electric hook ups - which is great - just make sure you have a fully charged battery. Excellent shower block with good showers - kept clean and tidy. Just a simple field with water points. Lovely sea views from the top field which is where we were this time. Thank you so much for keeping this little gem going. See you next year.

Liked: This is a quirky little site, easy to find, with reasonable amenities for a low price. Great views, easy access to the beach.

Disliked: A train line runs along one side of the small site, and trains run through the night. This was not made clear in the description of the site (which uses words like 'peaceful' and 'quiet', which are correct except when the train passes by) and I would not have booked it had I realised.

Liked: Lovely site. Clean toilets and new toilet doors were being fitted the day we were there. Showers were £1 for 10 mins.
Not far to the gorgeous beach! My son is train mad so perfect spot for him to watch the trains. Will certainly be back.

Liked: Very friendly and laid back owners
Hot showers and toilet block fine
Lots of space and able to move around pitches as more people arrived.
Very quiet at night.

Disliked: It appears we paid double the price for the same facilities by booking through pitch up and therefore wouldn’t use that site again on that basis.

Realised once the trains started running that it was very noises as close to track and then a road behind, which was shame.

Hard to get to the coastal path via public transport from the site, which was important for us so we had to drive every day.
