What a lovely, peaceful place. If you're looking for a little getaway to switch off from your busy life then I highly recommend a visit to Parc Maerdy Glamping.

The pods are spacious and spotlessly clean. There are hot tubs for hire, but the weather was a little too chilly and windy for us to use on this visit, but we'll definitely use them next time.

The surrounding area has lots of lovely lanes to go for a wander and so many beautiful views to see too.

Ended up staying in a pre erected tent after booking a pod. Unbelievably spent nearly £190 on the a booking and would have rather stayed in my own tent as it would have been cleaner and quieter. There is a 4 minute walk from the tent to your car, which is lovely in the evening on a nice day, but annoying in the rain as you’re soaked for the day before you’ve gone anywhere. When we got in the tent it was grubby, dirty blankets and sweets stuck to the floor and the outside of the tent was dirty. The tent itself is like a drum every rain drop or gust of wind in amplified inside and the zip on the front of the tent was very annoying as it chimed constantly in the wind (can be solved easily). The bed is way to small for anyone over 5 foot 6 and the pole by your feet will get in the way also. The “fairy lighting” around each tent and along fences were flashing all night and were very annoying, felt like there was an ambulance outside. Luckily I had a bag of my own camping equipment from the previous week in the car as there was no cups, plates or cutlery.

However. Very good location with a good store/petrol station nearby. The staff were very helpful after being argumentative on arrival and the shared kitchen and toilet block were very good and very clean compared to other campsites I’ve stayed on. Both the pods and tents look very good and the campsite itself was very peaceful and well kept. The hot tubs were also very good for £10/half hour.

We had an amazing three-night stay in one of the en-suite glamping pods at Parc Maerdy. The site is absolutely beautiful and we loved every moment of our stay. Peter and Sandra were so welcoming and kind to us. We can’t wait to come back! 5* for cleanliness (pod, shared kitchen, and shared toilets/showers were all immaculate), location, hosts, and EVERYTHING else!

Such a peaceful place to stay. As soon as we arrived until our departure we were really well looked after. Kitchen block and the shower block were so clean, showers were fantastic 👌,
A couple of small lakes to fish, foc, lovely views.
Barbecue outside each Pod, 2 hot tubs, not the inflatable ones, proper hot tubs, so relaxing that we didn't want to get out, even after an hour 😀.
The couple that ran the site would go out of their way to help, we had forgotten our quilts, sorted within minutes, proper directions and advice on food shopping, beaches with free parking etc etc 😀.
Thank you so much and see you soon 🙏👍

As a first time ‘glamper’ we couldn’t have chosen a nicer location. The place looked exactly what is shown on website, cosy, pretty ,quite and clean .The drive towards this location is breath taking, we could see part of coast and beach from the road.Excellent location for families escaping busy city life ,there is a beach near the site but we went to Aberporth beach (recommended by a previous visitor )which was about 20 mins from the location .

There is marvellous fish and chip shop’ Caffi Sgadan’ ,on Aberporth beach ,nice food and would also recommend their home made ice cream .Our kids had a brilliant day there , sandy beach, bright day ,low tide , what else can you ask for :)

Although it’s glamming but if you fancy a curry there is Indian restaurant Abdul Tandoori- highly recommended ( around 25 mins drive from the site)and another one nearby is Sugandha .

There is hot tub available (additional charge but worth it)if you want to soak in your tired body after gorgeous walks around this site .The pods/rooms are decent sized with comfortable bed and bunk bed for kids. There is little cooler fridge , underfloor heating ,and personal barbeque next to your pod.The toilets / shower temple are shared and I was a bit worried about it, however they were clean (newly built) and the owner could be seen visiting every now and then ,checking on facilities .

The owner is a wonderful young man who greets with a big smile and is available at a text or a phone call.We were impressed how quickly he and his partner would respond to all the queries or needs.Very good service , Impressive for a small team - well done .Thank you and we will definitely visit again :)
