An incredible place, wonderfully relaxing and utterly amazing. We enjoyed a couple of nights in the pod with all the amenities you needed it was spotlessly cleaned and Stan and Laura the owners were always on hand if we needed anything, they had the perfect level of attention for us.We toasted marshmallows under the stars and listened to the crackle of the fire! A five 5 experience for all weathers, it rained on our second night but that didn’t matter it was still so cozy! Highly recommend to anyone that is looking to get back to basics where the simple things in life are appreciated! Thanks once again for a wonderful stay we will definitely be coming back!

Another lovely stay!
We returned having stayed a few years ago, this time tried the pod which was lovely! Well equipped and cosy even in the cooler spring weather. A lovely site in a lovely spot and would definitely return. If you are looking for a quiet and family friendly site with lots of outdoor activities nearby this is a great spot. The dog loved it too!

If we could score it six stars we would! We love this campsite and have returned every year for five years.
The location is fab - right inside the Stackpole estate. Stan and Laura are amazing hosts and every year we return they have added something new to improve the experience. We have stayed in the safari tent and the yurt - both are great, hard to say which is best as actually both have worked well for us. The kids (now 9 and 11) love playing with the other children in the middle of the field - it's always such a nice atmosphere.

We’ve just spent 7 fantastic nights at Stackpole Under The Stars in our caravan with 4 children. We’ve decided this is now our favourite site and will be booking again in the future. The pitches are extremely generous, we have a twin axle caravan with full awning and annexe and still had plenty of room for our shelter. Stan and Laura are very friendly and always more than happy to help with queries or just chat. This campsite really is something special.

Had a fantastic stay last week of July with my family - Laura & Stan were extremely friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure a great time is had by all. Would highly recommend Stackpole Under The Stars to any family looking to camp or glamp in Pembrokeshire.

Great site: well spaced out, great amenities, lovely owners and patrons. Small shop has all you reasonably need. The pod is really comfortable and clean, quiet to sleep in. Astonishingly beautiful area, where the coast is dramatic and varied, with sweeping beaches and rocky coves. Everything you could want. Sunshine extra.

Stackpole Under The Stars is a wonderfully charming, family friendly camping and glamping spot located just a stone's throw from the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast.
For our week long stay together with friends and our primary aged children we camped in our own tents but there are also static glamping tents and cabins on site to hire (We had a sneaky peak inside a vacant glamping tent and they look incredible!). The generously large pitches are limited in number so you're absolutely certain to have a relaxing stay with plenty of space; not all crammed in together as you sometimes find with similarly sized camp sites.
Even though the site was at full capacity for most of our stay there were ample toilet and shower facilities so we didn't have to queue for either even once. Notably (as a camping veteran) I struggle to recall a campsite at which I've stayed that could boast cleaner facilities than Stackpole Under The Stars.
There's plenty to keep the whole family amused both on and off site. Whether it's the well stocked games shed, rope swing or Axe Throwing (yes, you read that correctly ... supervised sessions of course!) on the site; or the numerous crystal clear sandy beaches, crabbing hot spots, castles, wildlife spotting boat rides and picture postcard villages nearby — there's plenty all weather activities within a half hour drive of the site.
The little extras are what sets Stackpole Under The Stars apart, especially when camping. Grab a fire pit and toast some marshmallows from "the little shop" on site. Order freshly baked pastries for breakfast which are delivered to the site from a local bakery (available one day in the week at time of writing). Most exciting of all though, Stackpole Under The Stars have recently installed a restaurant grade stone baked pizza oven on site! They hadn't quite completed the kitchen when we stayed (summer '22) so we didn't get a chance to try it out but their pizza menu looks *amazing* So I can't wait for our next stay!
If you're able to tear yourself away from the onsite pizzas, there are enough pubs and restaurants close by that you could go somewhere different every night of your stay (not quite in the spirit of camping though, granted!). For good value and a varied menu (for even the fussier children) seek out the St. Govan's Inn which is between the campsite and Broad Haven Beach (best beach in the area).
All in, I could not recommend Stackpole Under The Stars highly enough and we had an amazing week.

We've just got home after a beautiful stay at Stackpole Under The Stars, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The site was beautiful, the bathroom pods were warm and clean, and plenty of space for each pitch. The lovely owners were so welcoming and friendly, and we will definitely go back. Thank you for the restful break we so needed.
