This was my third visit to this idyllic, beauty spot. Was very lucky with weather. Extremely peaceful and very animal friendly . My dog was quite at home and allowed to run freely. Really beautiful countryside and not far form amazing beaches. Gill and Chris, the owners are very friendly and only too willing to help make your stay one to remember. Beautiful lakes where you can watch the wildlife and relax. Fire baskets are provided if you wish to have a campfire . I’ll definitely be back for a fourth time. Thanks Gill and Chris!!

We have stayed at this campsite many times over the last ten years. The owners Gill and Chris are very friendly and helpful a d have become good friends. The site is very dog friendly and our dog loves it there. The showers and toilets are clean and there are brochures on things to do in the area. It is very peaceful there as it is set off the road. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a friendly and quiet holiday . We are definatley going again this year.

What a great place to stay! Green fields, ponds, open spaces, decent facilities. Already enjoyed 3 trips here and just love the peace and tranquillity. Perfect place to get away from it all yet within easy reach of some fab beaches. Owners Chris and Gill can't do enough to make you feel welcome. Can't wait for next trip back.

Although the hosts are delightful, the website is extremely misleading. There is sadly no fishing or market garden and the shower block leaves an awful lot to be desired; more of a shed with a 70s shower head in it, not particularly clean and a very slippy floor. We did get pitches (next to the lake but you can't see it for brambles and tall weeds) to ourselves with a 1400w hookup however, the entire set up is very rustic and at £24 per night rather expensive considering the facilities. We have stayed at other sites for this cost where the shower block has been modern (and the toilet and shower are separate) and exceptionally clean. Although we took our recycling with us, you are not able to recycle any glass at all. The site is happily very quiet and out of the way which is lovely however, disappointing considering what is advertised on the website.

We emailed asking for a quiet corner for our anxious dog and were amazed to be given a whole area of the campsite all to ourselves. There was even a field next door she could run in and no one disturbed us. Was like wild camping with electric and the facilities, though basic, were only a peaceful walk away in the main camping field. We will definitely go back - Thanks Gill!
P.s agree the website needs updating but who needs a market garden when you have games to play with the kids, beaches a few miles away, dolphins to watch and all those gorgeous sunsets and stars to look at.....
P.p.s please don’t go there as we would like it to be just as peaceful when we return haha

Campsite and staff very nice and peaceful. Sadly website wildly inaccurate, stated fishing pool and market garden but fishing unavailable and market garden has clearly been derelict for many years. Shower facilities rustic to say the least but adequate. A lovely camping experience but don't book on the basis of fishing and the presence of a market garden as they are no longer there.

Staff lovely and attentive however, website is very inaccurate it states a fishing pool and market garden but, the fishing pool has no fish and the market garden probably hasn't been open in many years and also shower facilities are not great there are a few bugs and I slipped once or twice as the floor gets wet, but they are warm... the pond is lovely and there is some great scenery the roads are very off road however, they are okay you can buy fresh eggs which is a bonus but sometimes you have to imagne you are camping in rural France. But a lovely site thats family freindly and dog freindly. However they dont reycle glass but other than that working recycling facilities. I would recommend nice people and peaceful plots.

8 of us spent a week at Cwrt Hen for our annual camping trip this year. Great little campsite with extremely nice owners. Our little pitch was out of the way and was great for the dogs and kids. Facilities are basic but were just what we needed, plenty of hot water all day.

The only down side is that you cant walk anywhere to go to a pub or local shops, there is a petrol station \ minimart a few miles away so a short car ride and you can get all you need.

Would fully recommend !!!!
