Liked: We loved everything about this campsite! It has been maintained to a very high standard. There are plenty of toilets and shower blocks which are cleaned daily. The showers were huge with hooks to hang bags and towels and a seat in each. The views at every angle were amazing. No matter where your pitch is, you'll have an excellent view and be a stones throw from the toilets. The campsite also has a launderette, TV room, games room and a small shop in Reception that sells most essential items. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The only thing that I didn't like was the fact the nearest pub/eatery is a mile away. It is a small criticism but after a long day of hiking, it would be nice to eat/drink on site. There is a pizza van and chippy van that comes on certain nights of the week though. We had a brilliant stay and would definitely visit again and recommend it to others.

Liked: Lovely location and a well maintained and set out site. I travel extensively in my little Volkswagon camper and stay for short breaks to explore surrounding areas. I have experienced many sites, large and small with varying outcomes. It was a pleasure to stay here with friendly and helpful staff, well attended facilities and great consideration given to the people who might stay with them. I would highly recommend this site to anyone, but, especially families as the site was well catered for little ones too. No noise and lovely views. Great to see on site shop as many dont these days in my experience! All good!

Liked: Toilets and showers kept clean and in good condition. Pitches were flat. Shop onsite good for basics. Location excellent and views stunning.

Playgrounds for kids are great, and the River running through the site is great for paddling in.

Food vans visiting the site was also a nice touch, but a bit more sign-posting of when these were coming would have been nice i.e. we heard the ice-cream van but couldn't find him, then he just drove past us giving the kids a thumbs up!

Would definitely recommend and return.

Liked: The beautiful views around the campsite. There was a lovely stream at the back of the girls where we were staying which the kids loved. There was a few play areas which again was great for entertaining the kids. The showers were nice and warm and clean. Shower blocks close to our pitch which was great. Trip into nearest town which was 10 minutes away and loads to do there and places to eat and drink.

Liked: Spotlessly clean a beautiful site , great location, the staff are so friendly and will help in any way . Love the dog walk trails really good also the picnic area by the river is beautiful so peaceful.child friendly and dog friendly. Absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains in a prime location , we really enjoyed our stay here although we had to leave early due to a family emergency, but this will be a place we will be returning too many times as we loved it that much so relaxing. The Wi-Fi worked brilliant. Thank you for an amazing stay we was lucky too as the weather was gorgeous.

Disliked: A little tip take your own toilet rolls as they was charging 5.00 for 4 toilet rolls

Liked: A gorgeous location with access to some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK A real treat of a site that has everything you need onsite facilities are maintained to excellent standards. we really enjoyed the family bathroom facilities which were made available with a £20 deposit for the key.

Disliked: Quite a bit of late night noise some campers carrying on with the social till midnight. The site should introduce quiet time after 11pm

Liked: Very good facilities (shower, toilets etc.) on the campsite, stayed on a fully serviced pitch with electric hook up and water. Shop on site with essentials. Arrived late Friday and was able to utilise the fish and chip van on site. Beautiful views and nice walks from the site. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Quiet hours mostly observed. We have no children but the site had a number of play areas and activities. Great base to explore nearby towns and cities.

Disliked: Showers could be slightly improved with a partition between the toilet and shower area.

Liked: Helpful and friendly staff, gave directions and provided palettes to help against mud.
The scenery is gorgeous and lush, wish we stayed longer so we could explore at around the site longer. Prime location for climbing Snowdon. Wifi was unexpected bonus and very good. Facilities regularly cleaned, showers were good pressure and had temperature gauges which was great!

Added bonus, right next to railway so we got to see the steam train pass by our tent which was brilliant!

Disliked: The wind! 😂

(Could also have better direction for regular bins as all seemed to be recycling)
