We went for 2 nights and had the most amazing time. It was when we had the very hot September evening and the most glorious Saturday. We had a great fire pit both nights and watched the stars. The yurt was very warm and the bed very comfy. In the morning the light was wonderful. We totally switched off and relaxed.
The Sunday brought rain but it was joyous to be under cover, warm and watching the beautiful view. Terrific walks and a great pub for food in Charcott.
Definitely book again

I had such a lovely stay here. Chris was very welcoming and accommodating.

There was the option of ordering local produce from Bore place so that it is ready to collect upon arrival. We ordered the burgers, salad, truffle cheese, and brownies, all of which were incredibly delicious.

One of the things I loved about the Glamping was the fire pit, which you can use for cooking too.

It was incredibly peaceful, being under the stars with the recliner chairs, fire, marshmallows, and greenery.

There are some nearby walks, and we cycled to a nearby tea house for breakfast.

All in all a lovely peaceful getaway, for a very reasonable price, which I could see myself doing again.

The only thing I could suggest for improvement is to give the shared fridge a clean.

I had a wonderful stay in the Yurt. I went alone for a time of retreat and quiet and it was perfect. A feeling of peace and silence, yet close to others if you needed something. Wonderful walks and all kitted out to make it feel luxurious and easy. I loved lying on the bed in the yurt and looking out at the view down the fields. Absolute bliss. The outside kitchen is great fun and made cooking a pleasure. This is a great way to do a retreat. I would totally recommend. A wonderful place.

We have stayed in the Daisy shepherds hut twice now. Both times were excellent. We had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing and comfortable stay. The hut is cosy and has good insulation so it was warm on our recent autumn trip. When we came in the summer we cooked on the fire pit and watched the stars all evening.

The site is quiet and you have enough space between the huts and yurts so you have privacy. The outdoor shower is a fun experience, especially on a sunny day.

I'd also recommend pre-ordering food from the farm. We had a salad box with a selection of courgettes, green beans, corn on the cob, tomatoes and lettuce. It was all really delicious. I'd also recommend the chilli, steaks and brownies. Everything we've had from the farm shop was great and its in your fridge when you arrive.

To any new family looking to get some peace and quiet in the outdoors, this is the place. Free Range is our first glamping experience with our new baby and we all loved it. The space between yurts offered privacy and enough distance to not worry about disturbing other glamper's peace. This suited our needs to be outdoors, relax but comfortable. The yurt was furnished with a couple of beds and the kitchen had enough pots and pans, cutlery Ofcourse, even as seasoned campers, we still carried everything but the kitchen sink but we found it was uncessesary because most things were provided.

Another fab mini break at this site. This time we opted for the Daisy hut. An excellent choice for camping in October as it’s extremely well insulated so the use of the log burner was more fun than necessity. Loads of stuff to do nearby; Hever etc but equally nice to sit and chill in the hut. Heard owls, saw bats, bought a box of fresh veg and the binoculars were out for birds of prey and pheasants. Both times I’ve felt like I was on safari. A fantastic site!

Not a camper by nature so compromised on Glamping and this one is only a 40 min drive from home. Had a really good time. Loved sleeping in a bed and it was nice and warm.

We were in the Barbra hut, which was great. I also loved the fact there are only 4 other huts so feels really secluded. We BBQ outside the hut.

The wagon/hot was really nice and comfortable. It had a stove, lights and a good toilet!

Awful experience! My boyfriend and I booked a 3 night stay at the daisy shephards hut for a short get away. On arrival we found that the toilet hadn’t been changed the smell was horrendous, therefore had to google the owners contact details and request he cleaned it which he apologised for. A further call was made to Chris on the following day as we were unable to access the charging points. On our final night we were awoken at 2.30am due to our smoke/ carbon monoxide alarm which was activated with a red light flashing. Despite several phone calls to Chris the owner we had no response, we then had to call the emergency services. We were advised to urgently evacuate the building leaving all windows and doors open due to carbon monoxide setting off the alarm. The emergency services sent out a gas engineer who then isolated the gas to the hut. The owner has refused to compensate us for the bad experience we endured. Please be cautious if you decide to book with these people.
