Perfect escape to the Welsh countryside. The hosts Hayley and Tom (although we only got to meet Hayley) made us feel very welcome and made our stay as pleasant as possible. The view of the valley from the room was incredible and the complimentary food commodities were also a very nice touch.

All in all, it was a far more authentic experience than any hotel could ever hope to provide, and I'll be recommending it to anyone who plans to stay in the area in the near future :)

We stayed last year in the self contained Room with a View, which had a small kitchen and en-suite toilet and shower.
The view overlooking Tintern and the Wye Valley was amazing, especially at sunrise!
We brought our dog and the hosts Hayley & Tom took us on a tour around their land and directed us to the many local walking trails which take you through beautiful woodlands. One walk lead us to a nearby waterfall.
These eco minded owners are laid back and make you feel welcome. The use the outdoor wood-fired hot tub and sauna, followed by a relaxing massage from Hayley in the yoga suite really was the cherry on the cake!
We can't wait to return 😊

Peaceful retreat. We took a Shinrin Yoku experience. Driving up through the countryside was a treat in itself, upon arriving we were met by Tom who was immediately friendly and relaxed. Our party was just the two of us and our old dog, we spent hours immersed in the forest enjoying our surroundings led by Tom to quietly connect with nature, our day was dry and sunny but would have been equally as enjoyable in the rain. We came away thoroughly relaxed. Friends asked us why were we paying for a walk in the woods when this can be done for free, to them I say you can walk for free, but this wasn't a walk in the woods it was a Shinrin Yoku experience with a guide knowledgeable and insightful, worth every penny.

I cannot recommend Forest Retreats enough. It was the perfect escape from the real world. I went with a few of my friends for my 40th Birthday and came back floating, happy and contented. Such a beautiful place looking over the valley and doing yoga in the woods followed by scrummy pizza (made by Tom) and a soak in the hot tub and sauna looking up at the stars. I also had amazing massage from Hayley and she really worked on the knots in my back. I wish I could go back for a massage every week! Tom and Hayley are amazing hosts and made sure we had a fantastic time. All the girls said they want to go back again so we will be booking again for whoever's birthday it is next for sure!

Amazing 4 nights spent in an 18ft yurt. Went to sleep with the sound of Tawny Owls and woke up to Buzzards right outside the yurt. Gorgeous views across the Wye. Very comfortable inside and a fully equipped kitchen outside (under cover) meant we had a very relaxing stay!

Lovely off- grid yurt campsite! We had a wonderful weekend for my parents joint birthdays- very beautifully decorated and well equipped yurts and kitchen area at a very reasonable price. The yurts are set with plenty of space around them so it feels like a proper escape. It's also a great location in Tintern near the wye valley. We would definitely go back!

Just came back from a yoga retreat at Hill Farm, what a beautiful time! The setting is just perfect, with stunning views of Tintern Abbey and across the Wye Valley. Hayley and Tom are incredible hosts, making sure everyone was well looked after. Hayley is a fantastic yoga teacher, whilst Tom cooked nourishing, delicious food and led us through a wonderful forest bathing experience. Both are warm, relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable and they do everything on the farm with sustainability in mind.

We stayed in a yurt, which was well-equipped with comfy beds, a wood burner and an outdoor kitchen. There is plenty of wildlife (stag right outside our yurt!) and I also loved the sheep, chickens and ducks they keep on the farm.

The retreat itself was transformative and relaxing, with a schedule that meant we got a lot from it, but with plenty of free time to chill and enjoy the serenity.

At night we were treated to massages, an eco spa and homemade pizza, the whole experience was perfect, what a gem! Thank you both, we'll be back!

Super helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the bigger yurts. We had plenty of room and the bed was very comfy. Shower was always hot & having our own private kitchen was amazing. We will be back!
