Hardys Original Sweetshop

A great sweet shop, offering old and new, English, American, Japanese and an array of other sweets and drinks. I don't think anyone would be able to walk past it after seeing it, but if you're unsure it's definitely worth popping in.

Great place! Large choice of sweets - bonbons, sandwich spreads, toffees, chocolates, Nerds, jelly beans - you name it! If you want something a little more posh there's a Hotel Chocolat nearby.

This is a difficult one to be honest. On the plus side this shop offers a truly outstanding amount of sweets and some very unique and unusual sweets from across the globe. I have travelled and could find lots of sweets from the USA and other places that you would not normally get in the UK. Now the negative side is the price to be honest - a packet of chewing gum that costs 1 dollar in the US costs £3.15 borders on the insane and even with markup needed its hard to justify to be honest. For kids this is great of course and they can easily spend all of their pocket money without even breaking a sweat.

Hardys sweet shop is great place to visit if you are walking along the high street. There are so many sweets and little gifts to choose from you will be spoilt for choice.

Very disappointed with the quality of the chocolate given the extortionate cost. But even more disappointed that one of the bars of chocolate was out of date. I will not be shopping there again.

I visited here with my son yesterday! A nice variety of sweets. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it! Especially if it's a treat. The shop was clean, tidy and we'll organised. The guy serving was friendly and helpful.

Have visited here for year's and always happy with my sweet stash. They do seem to have less selection in the shop these days.

Very disappointing !!!.
I spent £24 in there yesterday and had to bin half of the items. I am sure they have been sitting there since the 1st pandemic and were mostly out if date !!!
