I wouldn’t normally bother asking for a refund but as they were so overpriced I went back and was met with a very aggressive attitude from the owners daughter as we didn’t have the original packaging. She remembered me and knew I had bought them. Sorry but if it was my shop I would have given the refund in good faith.
Sad that they treat regular customers this way
In response to your reply. I was not aggressive and I did not demand a refund. We actually asked politely for a refund. You were that aggressive the other employee (who was great by the way) had to tell you to calm down. I admitted we no longer had the packaging as we didn’t think to pick up lots of tiny burst balloons but I’m really not going to lie about it lol. You remembered me buying the item and admitted that you knew I bought the item. You even have a bad attitude on here asking why I bought an overpriced item. You obviously don’t have children! Sometimes you treat them when on holiday and they actually really liked your shop so we always go even though it is all overpriced. You can’t deny that. It’s a fact.
And yes I would have thought as you remembered me and obviously I wasn’t lying I thought you would have given a refund and I actually believe many other shops would have when they remember the person buying them.
It wasnt even about the money it was the principal and the fact I bet all the other items in that batch are faulty too and you will continue to sell them. They seemed like old stock and they just disintegrated when filled with water.
Anyway, no big deal at least you know now and hopefully have the decency to check the rest of the stock and also don’t be in denial about your attitude. Take a leaf out of your work colleagues book as she handled the situation great.
