Sugacane

Had 30% of the flavours in stock. We bought three of the same, for hubby and 2 children. When I asked if I could try a sample of a flavour to help me pick between 2 of the very limited offering the 'gent' shrugged and said no. I came away without and won't be spending in there again. Very poor service. Very poor attitude

most of the workers aren't nice, especially the ones in the toys part. on of them growl when i pass. other times, try and rip me off when i wanted to by things never going there again,

Went in just yesterday to have a look and the selection is brilliant with old sweets you probably won't find anymore. Prices are for the most part off the wall. Asked for a fudge square, lady dropped it on the floor, proceeded to slide it around trying to pick it up, put it in the bag and handed it to me with no mention of what happened. I asked if I could get a different one considering the floor wasn't too clean and she said she would have to charge extra for her mishap but overall its a nice area, just like every other review the staff could be a bit more upbeat and helpful

Loads of great toys and beach wear , shop looks small but lots of rooms inside and fully stocked with well priced modern upto date gear

Toys are really over priced and the staff were very rude. I paid £17.99 for some water balloons and to my kids dissapointment they all burst before they filled up to use. CoMplete waste of money
I wouldn’t normally bother asking for a refund but as they were so overpriced I went back and was met with a very aggressive attitude from the owners daughter as we didn’t have the original packaging. She remembered me and knew I had bought them. Sorry but if it was my shop I would have given the refund in good faith.
Sad that they treat regular customers this way
In response to your reply. I was not aggressive and I did not demand a refund. We actually asked politely for a refund. You were that aggressive the other employee (who was great by the way) had to tell you to calm down. I admitted we no longer had the packaging as we didn’t think to pick up lots of tiny burst balloons but I’m really not going to lie about it lol. You remembered me buying the item and admitted that you knew I bought the item. You even have a bad attitude on here asking why I bought an overpriced item. You obviously don’t have children! Sometimes you treat them when on holiday and they actually really liked your shop so we always go even though it is all overpriced. You can’t deny that. It’s a fact.
And yes I would have thought as you remembered me and obviously I wasn’t lying I thought you would have given a refund and I actually believe many other shops would have when they remember the person buying them.
It wasnt even about the money it was the principal and the fact I bet all the other items in that batch are faulty too and you will continue to sell them. They seemed like old stock and they just disintegrated when filled with water.
Anyway, no big deal at least you know now and hopefully have the decency to check the rest of the stock and also don’t be in denial about your attitude. Take a leaf out of your work colleagues book as she handled the situation great.

Purchased a paddle board from here over the weekend for the kids as it was very hot and nice, amazing service couldn’t have been more helpful in helping me pick the perfect paddle board , will definitly be coming back when I’m on here on holiday next !!

My kids love this shop. Everytime we go to llanbedrog we make a special visit to sugarcane. The staff are welcoming and lovely. You must visit and get you're own sugar fix. Thanks for a great visit and satisfied kids x

We went to the ice cream part and there were no prices on display for the ice cream or cones. The gentleman serving was rude with no pleasantries and tried to give me a broken cone. When I pointed it out he said it was his last one so I settled for something else. The cones themselves were all stale (party of 4) but the ice cream was nice. Within the time it had taken us all to eat our ice creams he’d stocked up on the cones he’d claimed he had no more of. Not impressed with this shop in Pwllheli.
