Pompey Car sales

My husband and I decided to purchase our car from Pompey Car sales based purely on their reviews. We'd found cars that fit our criteria from other places but as soon as we did some digging, it become abundantly clear that these places were dodgy and buyers were scathing both about their purchases and the service. Pompey Car Sales was the third company we researched and they were the only one that had glowing reviews! We purchased the car after a test Drive abd found the service and The vehicle to surpass our expectations. A great family business that is run by a very friendly and honest couple. It was an absolute pleasure and well worth the two hour drive each way from London. Would thoroughly recommend and will be visiting them again to buy my car. Gives you faith in the used car salesman. Well done!

Bought a lovely car from here. The owner was accommodating, reliable and honest. Quality cars on display with decent pricing. Did not feel pressured to make a purchase. Was free to check out the cars at my own pace. Will definitely recommend this business to others.

Great Guy, went to see a car. The owner was very honest and upfront, offered to get the little snags repaired before releasing the car. Great location near the motorway, perfect for a test drive.
He offers his own warranty and if anything goes wrong he will get it fixed out of his own pocket. So at least it give you the confidence that the car is covered fully for the 3 months. i have had bad experiences with warranty companies like warranty wise/ customer protect etc.

I was very impressed with the experience of buying a car from these guys. There is no hard sell and they allow you to view the car and test drive by yourself. After purchasing my car, I had a slight issue with it and as they offer a 3 month warranty, my car was fixed by their mechanics with no trouble.

Avoid these muppets. A very shoddy outfit. Bought a car from these guys, to be fair quite a nice car but not cheap. Within 10 days it developed a problem. Took it back as under warranty. I strongly suspect their "mechanic" just kept it for a couple of days and reset the engine management system. It developed the same problem after a few days. My regular mechanic diagnosed it within 10 mins and told me they had just fobbed me off.

Suspect all the 5* reviews are either fakes, friends or purchased reviews.

Avoid.

Be warned !!!!!!

Went to place a deposit, car was immaculate and the team there were so casual whilst professional. Wasn't rushing anything through and got down to details.

Highly recommend, place deserves more recognition! Cheers guy looking forward to coming back and purchasing the car!
