They posted details of a vehicle on several websites, and as soon as I'd been notified it went live I called them and left a message stating my interest, and leaving my contact details. Sadly I never heard anything back, which of course struck a bad chord. So a couple of days later (and purely because the vehicle was still showing as available) I rang again only to be told the cars export had already been arranged with another buyer.

If it's too much trouble to mark a car "sale agreed" or "sold" in real time on their web advertisements (inc' eBay and Gumtree) as well as their own web site - the obvious result is that it's bound to waste of other genuine buyers time and cause frustration.

I suggest to Direct Car Sales Limited that you try considering your buyers when you are keen to neglect responding to your messages or managing your own advertisements on a timely basis.

Husband purchased a car just before Christmas. The initial service was great, with an older gentleman agreeing to show the car late on a Sunday evening in the pouring rain. After that it went downhill. My husband collected the car and he has had nothing but issues since. At least two of them were present at the time the vehicle was purchased. He has simply had the warranty quoted at him and told the issues aren’t covered. Basically, once they’ve sold the car, they don’t care. AVOID!

We have just purchased yet another car from direct car sales. We have used them for a good few years now as we always get a good service before and after sales. I think we have had around 5 cars from them now for us and our family. My mother also got her car from them around 8yrs ago and is still loving it.
