My Experience with the car Traders guys has been very good.
Purchased a used car from them and has been great. They resolved a small issue whit a lock as promised.
I love my new car thanks guys!

Be careful! Unprofessional and car was showing faults from same day.
The car had issues from the day I bought it. They delayed the repair finding excuses every day I called or took the car back to the garage until the warranty expired.

Very good. Purchasing a second hand car can be stressful. I found the people at The Car Traders Edmunton to be reliable, helpful and friendly. A window problem that was found shortly after purchase was investigated by their mechanic. They ordered parts and repaired with no hassle or charge. Very impressed. I found them all extremely courteous and trustworthy.

Terrible company. Bought a qashqai and had it delivered as we live miles away. Two bald tyres, missing cap from expansion bottle, paint splatter absolutely everywhere from where it had been badly machine polished, rubbish inside the car, broken bonnet latch, damage to rear bumper not disclosed, rear number plate delaminated, both rear lights let water into the boot, not been serviced for 4 years, a clearly dodgy mot, worn wheel bearing, cracked windscreen. I’m sure there’s more to come as well, be warned. Managed to get £350 back off the 7 grand I paid for it and had to stump up another £1000 myself to fix the long list of problems

I'm actually impressed by this Car Trader, I met Ali on a Sunday, which was very convenient for me and his patience and assistance was much appreciated. The car was ready to view when I arrived, clean and tidy and Ali was very open and unlike a car salesman, if you know what I mean. I consequently purchased a vehicle and it's being delivered so more than happy and would highly recommend them.

I had a mixed experience with The Car Traders, which ended up with an acceptable solution (a refund).

They sold me a 2013 Vauxhall. During test drive the clutch felt a bit hard but otherwise had no noises. The guy said it was because the clutch was probably new, and that it would get softer as I keep using it. Car was delivered 4 days after test drive, and the next day I start hearing a noise when I press the clutch, take the car to a trusted mechanic and he told me that the release bearing of the clutch was completely worn and the full clutch kit needed replacing, and there were also issues with the electrohydraulic power steering pump which in his opinion needed replacing as well. Quote to fix the car I just bought was around £2,100.

When I complained to The Car Traders, they offered to repair the car or give me a full refund. Given the experience, I found it difficult to trust their mechanic, and since they were not prepared to pay for an independent mechanic to do the repairs, I chose to return it. The refund process was not as smooth as I would have liked, as they were slightly less responsive and attentive than during the pre-sale process. However, they ultimately paid the full refund after 11 days (8 working days) from the return of the car, so all was good in the end (except the stress of the wait and the out of pocket mechanic inspection I paid for myself).

The same day I returned the car, the car was back on sale on AutoTrader; I strongly hope they fixed the issues before selling it onto somebody else.

I bought a car 3 months ago. They are very nice people. I asked them to fix a problem in the car, and they did without any problem.
