Just recently bought a car for my wife from Fred Henderson. The whole experience was excellent. Dealt with Alan Reed who was very courteous and also very professional. By the end of the transaction we both felt we had made a new friend. I would recommend this Company to anyone requiring a new or used car. Alan dealt with everything from start to finish. Very professional with a friendly family touch.

We bought my fathers car from this showroom. Staff were friendly and helpful, gave a fair price for our part exchange and were thoroughly professional throughout. A good car dealer that has a lot of passion as they sound. They only exist here and was surprised to see good reviews. Bought a car here during Autumn 2022 for my family member. They could have better coffee ☕️. Ssayong cars looks better for their value.

Fantastic customer service from Alan at Fred Henderson. When I came to view the car I felt there was no pressure and was allowed to look around at my own pace and test drive on my own. The car was, as advertised, really well looked after, and received a really good service and new MOT before I came to pick it up. Even though I wasn't buying the most expensive car, I was made to feel like a valued customer, and the whole process was stress-free and easy. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed buying my car from this garage. They were most helpful and accommodating as with postal strikes I had more than enough hassle with sorting out the paperwork. Alan the salesman was most reassuring and helpful. This is the second car I have bought and have had nothing but the best customer service including when getting the car serviced here.

I echo a lot of the other reviews - my experience of buying a used car at Fred Henderson was excellent, they are friendly, professional and honest. I dealt with Alan Reed and had complete confidence in him, there is no sense of a hard sell. Picking me up and dropping me off at Durham station was a nice touch as well.

I was out looking for a car just before Christmas, to replace mine which had just been written off in an accident, and we happened across Fred Henderson Ltd just by chance ........ I am so glad that we did.

We found a car which had just been taken on by them and as it hadn't yet been prepared for show, they asked us to give them some time to prepare it and then go back for a closer look.

We made arrangements to return and I purchased the car.
They were aware that I was due to travel back to my home some 225 miles away in just three days and they advised me that they would do everything possible to ensure that the car would be ready for me to enable me to make that journey as planned.

The car then underwent a full MOT and Service prior to me picking it up and work that was not strictly necessary was carried out to ensure that the car was in the best condition possible.

I was absolutely thrilled with the service that I received from the team at the garage and I have to say that Alan and Richard were amazing from start to finish.

These two gentlemen are not just salesmen, they care about their reputation and the service that they provide. So much so that I received a call from them, the morning after I travelled back down South, to check that I had arrived safely and that I was happy with the car.

You simply could not ask for a better service and I will definitely be making the 230 mile journey back to my home City to visit Fred Henderson, the next time that I want to purchase a car.

I cannot recommend Fred Henderson highly enough !
