I purchased a car from Listers that I had sourced online recently
I subsequently picked it up and when I arrived home -some 100 miles away- I noticed some damage to the dashboard - I emailed the salesperson Angelina who had very pleasantly dealt with me – and she immediately got authority to repair the damage and when it had been skilfully repaired and after I had sent evidence of the receipt I was paid in full within 24 hours
Excellent customer care throughout the whole process-

Very disappointed with both Grantham and Lincoln dealerships. I made an appointment to see a salesperson and vehicle at the Grantham Dealership last Friday but after leaving work early to view the vehicle both the salesperson and the vehicles were not there. The vehicle apparently was away at the body shop being repaired after someone damaged it. I would have at least expected a call to rearrange the viewing to save me travelling and leaving work early. I asked the sale manger to get the sale person to call me back.........still waiting. Very disappointing.

Second incident was on Saturday when my mate called in at the Lincoln dealership to look at a Hilux on the forecourt. No one came out to see him and when he did go in to the shop it took another 10 minutes but only after he stood in front of the receptionist, who also ignored him to start with. She then got a young lad to go out with my mate but he knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle he was viewing. He will now be buying his Hilux elsewhere. Am not saying he was ignored because he has lots of tattoo's but it does make you wonder.

It seems to me that Listers obviously do not need to sell vehicles at the moment. Would not recommend them to any of my mates.

Very poor dealerships customer service is not even their moto. My experience in servicing and looking to buy a car which are: Servicing costs are as they like no transparency nor in accordance with Toyota prices, you find your price before booking in if not you will end up paying more. Car will be returned stating the fault is fixed but not. Buying a car there should be no negotiation from customers just go get what they say. I used to own two Toyota’s now just one due to the service experience like most people own a toyota for the trouble free and easy maintenance but service is poor from listers. Listers Toyota Lincoln is absolute joke. I have emailed toyota liaison but no use they send my concerns to Lincoln store. I have spoken and emailed several times including to the manager, who does not care. Still waiting for delivery of car after clearing full payment. Will have to look elsewhere to resolve my issues. This is my last transaction with listers group and will advise anyone looking to deal with listers to be careful.

Purchased a Land Rover Teddy bear for my sons birthday and despite paying in full and the promise of next day delivery nothing in nearly 4 weeks and now out of stock despite numerous calls chasing them. total lack of customer service, just glad i bought my RR elsewhere, would not buy a car from this group EVER

I have only given 1 star as it the lowest possible score. I bought a car from Listers Skoda with damage that the dealer tried to pass off as something I had done despite me reporting it within less than an hour of ownership and having photographs from two weeks before collecting proving I wasn’t lying. Mis sold a warranty as a Skoda warranty which then turns out to be a Listers own warranty- restricting cover and accessible repair agents. Terrible communication and rather abrupt dealings at times. Absolutely no acceptance of them being in the wrong. Tom Cox the brand director has swerved my complaint and passed it to Paul Fox the Retailer Principal who was largely to blame for the need to complain. The car broke down before completing 300 miles and it took three weeks to sort the damage that was already there. If the communication was there and a touch of honesty from them, I wouldn’t even be writing this. As it is I have spent £20k and come away feeling like a second rate citizen that owes Listers for ‘looking after me’ rather than dealing with their wrongs!! I would never ever deal with them again. Be warned.

Dealt with Jack Foskett at listers Coventry, purchased a car off him previously and he was fantastic, that much so that Iv come back for another one! Very professional, makes you feel comfortable, does not pressure, full of information and there to help any time! He even came in for me on his day off as good will to finish off my hand over. Really appreciated it, will be coming back again when the time comes.

Great experience in buying the Mrs her first car. She is in love with it and the business helped in making it a great surprise for her. Jack Foskett at Seat Coventry was brilliant
