Bellinger Used Cars & Service Centre Wantage

Left feeling pretty annoyed. Called up this morning wanting to buy a Mercedes GLC from these guys, they gave me a quote for my part ex that I was happy with. Was going to purchase vehichle subject to test drive, said I could come over within the hour, Jason who I dealt with said they’re insurance was “abit funny” about having children with you for test drive so I made an appointment with him for 16:30 (when my partner had finished work). At 14:40 Jason rang me to say the car had been sold. Absolute shambles. I told Jason I would leave a very accurate review and that’s what this is. This is why I usually shop for cars with main dealers. Would not recommend this garage to anyone, making an appointment for test drive with a view to sale, and not honouring that appointment. No call to say, someone else is interested, would you like to make a deposit to secure the vehchhle. Really annoyed!

Based on my recent servicing experience, this one's a 5 star review without any hesitation. Everything was friendly and professional from my initial email enquiry through to receiving my car back again in a freshly-cleaned state.
Other notable good points: decent courtesy car, clear itemised billing, and car left charging once servicing complete.
This place was recommended to me, and that along with many good stories from Internet EV forums, meant my expectations were high; they did not disappoint.

Rude women on phone. Try telling you your car has one problem when you know it something altogether different. Then they try to backtrack when proven wrong

Incompetent mechanics charging outrageous prices. Go literally anywhere but here. Front desk staff are nice.

Excellent customer service. We often use to visit car dealers to view new cars and I have to say these guys go above and beyond. Joe called us to follow up on our enquiry despite them being closed on the holiday and Mark just made the visit exceptional. The Subaru cars are lovely. We all know their Symmetrical AWD and Boxer engine tech are unique to them, but the new range is fantastic. Highly recommend. Have a look at the new Outback! Well refined. Ask for Mark.

Absolutely excellent service from a local family business. Have been a customer for many years both for purchase and service.
Always helpful and never pushy. On the rare occasions of minor issues, (lets face it no-one is perfect all the time) they have always resolved very quickly and satisfactorily. Definitely recommend!
