I bought my first car at The World of Car but I wasn't Happy with the car spending. I was given the chance to change my first deal to another one much more affordable. Tony Ahmed was a friendly, unstoppable and very diligent seller throughout all the process, he helped me a lot to make the right choice and the right decision, with my new purchase I'm paying now less monthly repayments, less annual road tax and I'm saving money on fuel car consumption. This was the deal that I was looking for.

Had my car now nearly 7 months, had a few mild problems which they fix for me, had no problems with the car since, recently pass it mot and had a service. I am very happy with the help and service they gave me and even test drive it as well. I would recommend to check out world of cars. (martin wilson - London Road)

After having the car a year with issues at the start I then take it for the MOT coming up… Only for them to tell me the DPF has been fitted incorrectly and the DPF sensor is missing which is illegal!
The previous MOT passed with nothing on it. I have had no work carried out in the DPF so it was sold to me in an illegal manor.
The DPF has now fully sheered off and the car now smells of fuel as all the pipe work is incorrect… meaning I can’t have my children in the car.
Absolutely shocking that they can get away with doing that. Currently chasing them up to sort it out.
I would never use them again and would recommend them to nobody!

Pretty embarrassing from the start. I had held off leaving a review for 4 months so everything is fixed.

Good points first - car is okay, at the time of buying the car there was no pressure and overall started ok.

When we came back (we live an hour away) the details had been set up for us to purchase it in the wrong name. (Warranty, v5c) however we needed the car so we reluctantly agreed and they promised us they would get this changed.

The car flagged up an issue which world of car's did resolve.

Then began the 4 month battle to get a refund for the change of name for the V5C and to correct the details in the warranty which we were unable to use for 3 months.

This is something that could have been fixed in 5 or 6 weeks if world of cars had responded to my emails & phonecalls. Still awaiting the reimbursement for the V5C change.

Take your business elsewhere, don't bother here

Bought a DS4 from this company. From the start of the process, Chris and Mark acted highly professionally and very helpful. The car was immaculate when i arrived to collect it and Mark gave me the keys so i could perform my own inspection whilst he sorted out the paperwork. Warranty, MOT, Tax and 200miles of fuel and an amazingly clean car.
3500 miles and a month later, the car is still 100%. No complaints whatsoever.
Would definitely use this firm when buying another car. Thanks guys

No pressure sales technique was appreciated and unexpected. The car I purchased is a dream and according to my regular mechanic, who checked it over, has been very well maintained. Would have no hesitation in recommending.
