We Purchased a used Range Rover from Ian at SVS car sales. The car drove well on a test drive but after we purchased it about 300 miles later it had a catastrophic coolant leak which led to the car overheating rapidly.
After investigation it turns out that the car had a bodged repair to the coolant system basically consisting of dumping a load of K Seal into the radiator header tank which blocked the leak around the coolant pump in the short term.
The car should have been fitted with a new coolant pump (£85) before it went on the road. However, a VERY poor repair attempt left us with no car for 4 weeks & a repair cost of £1200 for the new water pump & new cylinder head gaskets. DO NOT TRUST SVS car sales as it may cost you in the long run.

Felt pushed into a sale and didn't feel that the seller was being completely honest. Was also expected to pay an extra £110 for a new key for the car I was looking at, which I have just done for £70 and the key cutting company came to my house to do it at no extra cost. Didn't go through with the sale and had unpleasant phone calls and voicemails from the seller. Be careful!!!!

My sister bought a car from him a fortnight ago she was driving to work when her breaks failed she rung trade centre up and told her the car wasn't road worthy but wanted her to take the car from ripley to sutton she didn't so he sent a bloke round and said it was the brake pipe had broke ,the next day 2 men came to fix the car which is going to cost her £70 to then be told she has got to have 2 front tyres more expense has they were ripped around the rim she wishes now that she took someone with her to look at the car but then again that car should have been road worthy when she brought it so I do not recommend anyone to go there and buy a car

Outstanding service from start to finish. I originally came to view an Audi A3 but ended up driving away a VW Golf. Car was perfect for its age and came with full service history and a long MOT. Upon arrival none of the guys were pushy like salesman I have dealt with in the past and any query I had was no issue. I was able to test drive the car and again all questions were answered. 100% recommend these guys, service is excellent and overall a pleasant experience. The car is going great so far, thanks again!

i bought a Subaru WRX STI off this place a year ago , looked great , it had just passed the MOT , there was the issue a year later , when i took it for an MOT it failed with the same problem that it failed with the previous year , ie : rust issues passenger side within a structural area , apparently they fixed the issue and it passed thier MOT , if they had fixed the issue , how did it have exactly the same same issue in the same spot 12 months later , when i asked the garage if any work had been done previously , an emphatic NO , not since is came pout of the facvtory , so either they knew and fudged the MOT or thier MOT station needs looking in to , either way , it should not have been sold to me as it was
