Bassetts Citroën

I've been buying cars and getting them serviced here since 1995 when it was Jackson's, they've never let me down. It's nice when you're greeted by name and asked exactly what your needs are and nothing is too much trouble.
I did have an issue with another garage once when my car was taken to Cardiff by breakdown services, that garage wanted to charge me £500 for a clutch which was allegedly not covered by my warranty, I called Bassett's, they collected it from Cardiff and diagnosed the fault as being in the scope of the warranty and replaced the clutch at no cost to me!!!.
I've just had a service and MOT, done while I waited in a comfortable chair with the TV on, and chatting with the guys from sales, all very nice people.
Service like this is rare these days and it keeps me coming back.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! After having no luck with other Citroen dealerships..Called up and the whole team were so helpful and made sure they sorted out everything wrong with my car, were really good at letting me know the updates and if there were any changes. Really happy with service and car repairs from start to finish! (worth the drive as Cardiff one was terrible)

Awful experience. Paid a premium and bought 2nd hand car with assurances that it had passed multiple checks and piece of mind warranty. Within a week I noticed one of the door handles didn't work and it had an oil leak. Warranty paid for the faulty handle (not sure how this was not noted in the inspection) but refused to pay for the oil leak as this was due to over tightned sump plug, Bassett initially refused to pay until I pointed out they had done all the servcing and were directly responsible for the damage. 12 months later a known structural fault on the boot spoiler became visible that had been painted over, again warranty refused to pay out and Bassetts refused to pay out or discuss. Started proceedings against them and they offered to do another bodge job on it which I did not accept. Before it could progress vehicle was involved in an accident and just cut my losses and bought a Skoda. The warranty was pretty much worthless, the car had not been checked and the car was damaged from their servicing. I would never buy a citroen or any car from bassetts again.

Excellent customer service! Knowledgeable staff ensured my new vehicle was ready and looking superb for my collection. The Citroen C4 I purchased is a dream to drive and any questions I may have are answered by the professional sales and maintenance teams.

Really impressed with the full package offered by Bassetts Citroën at Bridgend. We needed a second car urgently and it also had to be suitable for a young driver and our Sales Executive, Adam, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble for him. He wasn't in the slightest bit pushy but at the same time kept us informed during the whole process. A pleasure to do business with you. Thank you to the whole team.

I bought a Brand new C3 from here. I found Neil, who I dealt with from the start to be very professional. My last brand new Citroen was bought from Bristol Street, this dealership is far better and more knowledgeable about the cars. Well done Bassets. I have been a loyal customer to Volvo and Mercedes. I have grown to dislike these stuck up dealerships and the niggles the cars have. Well done Citroen for producing great comfortable cars that hold their money and keep customers happy. All without breaking the Bank.
