Kwik Fit Plus - Guildford

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the centre for an MOT and some follow up servicing.

From the outset I was treated in a courteous and professional manner by all the staff .

I was given a genuinely friendly welcome. Every team member I met shared in this positive, helpful and engaging spirit. Today my car's case was managed mainly by Dave, who was truly outstanding. However, I am also grateful for every team member involved.

It turned out the car needed an exhaust repair and cleaning of the headlights to pass the test.

The work was carried out as very efficiently and in a timely manner, so I was able to drive my car away that evening. I was given different options of how to proceed, and was able to save probably several hundred pounds, but still have a car that is safe to drive and has passed the MOT.

Well done team, you do a great job, and you do it cheerfully.

It was truly a pleasure to come in again today, and to receive an efficient and professional service from the whole team.

I have been a Kwik Fit customer for years but having only lived in the area for the last 2 years I’ve regularly used the Guildford branch for MOT and Tyres, they are extremely helpful, efficient and have always tried to help keep the cost down if there is the option to repair instead of replace. Very professional and I will continue to use them / recommend them for years to come. Great customer service 👍🏻👍🏻

Went as a walk in late on Tuesday afternoon with a nail in my tyre. Quick inspection and was told it was a straightforward repair. Drove away approx 30 minutes later with a fully repaired tyre. Great service.

Although the service I would consider 5*, the fact that when the manager tried to sell me tire insurance he told me it was 9.99, he forgot to mention that it was per tire till payment time, just be honest and upfront - this felt super scummy to me.

The other huge issue was, I paid a lot to have my tires realigned, but whilst my car was in the care of the technician they broke my alloy wheel badge and tried to say it was my fault and it was "corroded" again, it's an honesty problem - they knew what they had done and did not want to admit it. Those badges don't cost much and they should have just apologized and fixed the issue.

I want to make it clear though, the manager was very nice and his attitude was great, it was literally the issues above that destroyed my view of your company. Such a shame as it was my first time visiting somewhere else.

Managed to slot me in with an emergency as I was driving the bridesmaids around for the afternoon but managed to chew up a tyre ! Super availability on stock with perfect cross season

These guys are amazing! Came in with a suspect slow puncture (able to fit me in despite being so busy), but all it was was a faulty valve - they fixed it for me free of charge! Plus, the waiting room is super warm and cozy whilst I did some work to pass the time. Thanks so much! Definitely recommend and will come here for all future car issues!!

Was told during the car's service that it needed over £200 worth of repairs (brakes). I then took it to two independent garages and they told me the brakes were fine. Not the first time this Guildford branch has tried to con us.
