Got quoted £1500 for a cat job I had completed at ICS for £400 including labour, if the owner wants me to pop in with the bill let me know if be more than happy to. Always always get a 2nd opinion.

I have used this garage for two years now, for MOTs and new tyres. I know a bit about cars and I like that this garage just gets on with it and does not try and up sell or suggest work that does not need to be done.
My bills were:
MOT 1: Cost £350 including the MOT, two new required tyres and new required wheel bearings.
MOT 2: Cost £208 including the MOT and 2 new tyres (requested by me) and rear windscreen wiper (also requested by me).
Conclusion: No frills, just gets on with it, professional. Budget tyres actually seem pretty good to me with only one puncture in 2 years. I drive 24,000 miles a year and so this is not bad on the budget tyres they put on!
