Executive Cardiff MOT Service Centre

Bad experience after going there only because I had a Groupon discount voucher for a car service. Left my car with them for 2 hours, they did absolutely nothing apart from topping up oil. The deal involved new filter but this wasn't put on! Paid extra £20 for oil...I asked for any paper work I was told NO WE DON'T DO PAPERWORK. I was not told what they had done at all. Never to go there again, no wonder why they offer discounts through Groupon! their service is not worthy even the discount price!!!

Absolutely shocking. Didn't really want me there with a Groupon voucher. Threatened that my car would be locked up in the garage overnight if I wasn't there to collect by 4.30....even though the voucher stated they're open until 6pm. Amazingly was able to predict I'd need in excess of £20 worth of oil - even though they hadn't even seen my car!
Upon collection, no documentation regarding the service and the member of staff couldn't give me any info about my car. I was simply advised to call 'in the future' and hope to catch the mechanic who dealt with my car. Unreal....
One plus point.... my car was shiny...

One BIG SCAM! Purchased a Groupon for a service. I am 100% sure they did nothing. Came back the next day as coil went back. This should be detected while making the service as the car was running terrible. After a week came back to exchange plugs. No difference. Took my car to BMW specialists. They said that some random crap coil was fitted. They did whatever to just fit that thing into my car (new coil is £36, so imagine how rubbish they are to do such a thing). Whats more I needed to exhange the plugs again as BMW specialists told they was not changed for ages. Executive Cardiff MOT ripped me off badly. Don't do this mistake. Awoid at any cost!

Please avoid! MOT tester ripped me off.

I was told my brake disks were "very bad", and there was a power steering fluid leak. Also, the tester replaced a sidelight bulb but it still didn't work. Tester offered to charge me £20 extra to pass the MOT there and then, which I paid as I needed the car for work.

I replaced the bulb myself later (tester had removed his bulb), and *after restarting the ignition* it worked fine. The mechanic must have known you had to do this with many cars!

Brake disks looked fine to me, so I went to a trusted mechanic who said there was some slight rust but not even bad enough for an advisory. The trusted mechanic couldn't see any signs of leaking power steering fluid due to a minor oil leak (which I am aware of & would only be an advisory) and was satisfied that my car was safe to drive and in a state where it would pass an MOT.

All in all, I was charged £20 extra to pass my car which should have passed with 1 advisory anyway! And the mechanic doesn't know how to change a bulb!

Had to get my brake pads replaced asap. These guys fitted them very professionally and the price was very reasonable. Very polite team. Thanks for the great service

Tried their services and they did what they said they would but there was no added value for the price charged. Personally I did not feel they took their time to thoroughly examine my vehicle and provide expert advice. I do not think I would return.

This is the first time I have used the company and have found them to be very polite paying attention to details asking me what I require etc nice to have professional service and that was only when I left the car.... the work is being carried today can't wait to have my car back if this is the standard they give
