I will attempt to be as fair as possible as it would be very easy to allow my dissatisfaction to paint a poor light on the few positives I encountered here.

I booked my car in for a service - the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, 2 months after the service I noticed a strong diesel smell from my engine. On inspection, diesel was leaking from the fuel filter. Fearing it to be an expensive fix I took it to a different garage as in that two months time I met a mutual friend who was a mechanic. The fuel filter (which had been part of the service) was bent out of shape from over tightening and quite damaged. Tool components were snapped off in the nuts preventing easy access also. To add insult to injury, the fuel filter was surrounded by several cigarette butts. Upon opening the fuel filter, someone had forced the filter in and broken the enclosure.

It is quite clear by inspecting this work that the staff here are amateurs at best with no care for their customer's property. Changing a fuel filter is (with the right tools) a job that most can do at home. I find it deeply concerning that the job was done to such a poor standard as to damage the filter, spraying diesel all over my engine. More so, when the filter couldn't be closed, they decided to tighten it as much as possible to force it closed, warping and ruining the cap. The fuel filter was not working as intended for two months, building up a deposit of dirt that will now most likely damage my fuel injectors.

The only reason I have not considered any form of legal action is that although nobody else touched the fuel filter after them - as it had been a couple of months I could not prove it without any reasonable doubt.

Consider this - due to the poor work done by this Garage, Diesel sprayed all over my engine. What if it were to ignite?

To the staff inevitably reading this review I sincerely hope that you have put more care into your work since my service, I dread to think of the potential consequences of further poor work on people's cars.

I will never return and will actively advise people to avoid you.

Just had front and rear brake discs and pads done here, customer service is excellent all the guys informative and friendly, great on price, were roughly £50 cheaper than quotes received from 4 other garages, would recommend. Will be using them from now on.

Have used this company for over 2 years and had in excess of 150 mots carried out together with many other repairs, in all this time i have had excellent service from all connected to this company. They are always accomadating, helpful and eger to please every time i call or visit.
Kevin and Craig in the workshops are a great team together and between them they run a good workshop. Coupled with Deb in reception who fronts the buisness who always has a smile and nothing is too much trouble for her.
A small company with good service thats hard to find these days.

Can't recommend. Got charged £260, all they did was replaced a brake switch and tried to find a gearbox fault. Very difficult to get hold off on the phone as well.

Used this company for the last few years. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend
