Halfords Autocentre Cardiff (North Road)

January 2018 - MOT, Failed on rear brakes rusted and worn. Decided to get all new for all 4. Julian the manager is very friendly. The team seem very happy and provide in depth knowledge to the customer. Prices are very high. £700 for 4 brake discs, all new pads and a rear box exhaust for the vauxhall merriva.

March 2017 - AA Member Referral to this garage. Andrew at the front desk and the guy who fitted my new starter motor were fantastic. Friendly and made great conversation. My first garage experience. Will always come here. Simply professionals.

Took my car for MOT the mechanic who carried out the job was polite and professional also pointed out a slight problem for me to take care of so as to prevent damage occurring in the future this problem did not affect the MOT would use Halfords Autocentre Cardiff again definately.

Dropped in for my first MOT, had availability on quite short notice which was nice. Dropped my keys off with Julian who let me know in advance that there would be a bit of a delay and to expect the car back in about an hour and a half, which wasn't a problem. Picked the car up, was informed of some minor issues to keep an eye on with tyres and headlights and was able to drive away fine! Very professional and friendly.

Great service today I was served by Julian for my oil service on my VW Golf Daniel the Technician took great care and did a fantastic job thank you both 5 star service thanks again!

My car failed it's MOT unfortunately on a Tuesday, I was told that Saturday would be the earliest it'd be fixed. They were able to fix the 2 issues by Friday as they stayed on late to complete. Lovely team and Julian took the time to explain everything to me (never felt rushed off the phone etc.) Would highly recommend and would go back for any other car troubles. Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing experience at halfords North road. I was running late for my mot yesterday but they still managed to fit me in even being as busy as they were! Customer service is excellent and so friendly and Julian is hilarious, and a great artist! Love the wood art in the reception. Thank you Julian and Jason!! Xx

Staff here were really good. Steve was honest with us about what could be done and what was worth doing, and when it was clear they should stop looking because the car was clearly done. Didn't charge us for a service once it became clear the car was beyond servicing. Been to them before and MOT is efficient and staff always friendly and helpful. Recommended.
