Took my car here for a full MOT and full service. Tony was fantastic from the offset. I was explained the process and upsold an extra product to help with my fuel efficiency for £30 which wasn't forced on me but felt it was a good idea. My car passed and the service went well. I ended up with new discs and pads but I knew that was coming but was delighted when Tony explained they were lifetime guarantee!! All in all the team were lovely, considerate, caring and test drove my car to make sure it was safe before I left. I would return here purely for the service 😊 thanks so much x

Great customer service

On arrival the assistant manager working behind the desk was superb in his greeting, behaviour, and customer support.

Over the course if an hour I witnessed him great customers with an excellent manner. He also apologised for some slow returns of vehicles.

He thanked staff members who were leaving who also went one step further. I felt this created a good team feel.

One customer clearly had a big problem and I overheard the assistant manager offering to stay late and arrive to work early in order to help get the car back to her.

So i booked in online for a Saturday appointment for tyres and wheel alignment l & was confirmed via email and paid immediately. I turned up and two guys at the reception was abit rude and puzzled i was there. Not really good customer service or inviting if being honest. Which isn't good when you've just spent around £275+ also driving up to 25 miles each way to get there. Well they then whinged that the online booking system can take 4 customers to one time slot and can i come back late no way that wasn’t happening, having other arrangements later. I immediately felt let down thinking i wasn’t getting this car sorted before mot due date.

The two lads stressed about the whole scenario eg. how long it all takes to do etc. fair enough, also was smelter of a hot day & these guys did not want to be there! Understandable but in all fairness be lucky your in a job and i cant wait up to 2 weeks for refund just because of their poorly run centre. So they said around three hours+ to do the jobs in the end.

Meanwhile i came back just over two hours later to check how they were getting on and i went in all friendly, just as i couldn't see my car in there anywhere, again very unfriendly, but the job was nearly done anyways, so I remained calm and friendly. No waiting area by the way, or air conditioning so i left again.
I got a call 20 minutes later my car is all done which to be fair on the phone very professional and friendly. I went back and the guys had only done the tyres and said the alignment machine is faulty and cannot proceed. They would issue a refund and said id get a call to re-book next week. No call also no refund issued. I had to escalate via Halfords live chat customer service to chase the refund. I was reasonably happy with the tyre quality & selection and the online offer for this.

Overall i felt the overall experience was very poor for a reputable company and I definitely would not recommend this centre specifically. What gets me is the added stress you've given that i can do without & makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable/unwelcome and they got paid for that, i however did not. Id advise you all take your service somewhere more appreciated where you can happily go again & again.

Had my MOT booked, car wouldn't start on the day! Had a recovery truck take the car to them but they were delayed so I missed the slot on the day, however they managed to fit me in the next day and got my car started promptly. Friendly staff, super helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great service and a last minute MOT. Excellent, friendly staff made my wife feel at ease. Far better experience than Sytner BMW who we will now never return to...

Took my car in for a last minute oil & filter change and wheel alignment, all staff were professional and honest, they did not have the oil and filter on site but they went out of their way to go and buy the items required despite the hassle, they advised my wheels were all fine after checking them, despite the time they spent to check the wheels I was still only charged for the oil and filter service, overall a pleasant experience and would use again
