Needed a car last minute, most outlets in the area were fully booked, Europcar were incredibly helpful. They didn't have what I had booked online, but they upgraded to the next tier. Excellent customer service throughout.

Rude unhelpful staff, out and out bad people who have no morals. Make sure you keep receipts for fuel and take photos of fuel gauge they make their money on the side charging every customer for fuel regardless. The Cars they provide are dirty, smelly, dented, scratched and wheels with curb rash and chunks out of them. No floor mats their cars are definitely not cleaned or sanitised. My hire car was arranged through UK Motability while my car was in the garage. I complained to Motability and to the branch and their head office. Three weeks later I receive an apology call of sorts from an equally rude and non caring woman claiming to be a manager from customer complaints. Definitely not a manager nor worthy of the title. I cannot express strongly enough what a bad company Europe Car are, which every way you want to look at them, they are a very below standard company who do not know the meaning of customers or service. I will never accept a hire car from this company ever again..they are fringe line breaking the law on many counts..the customer service number is picked up by a call centre in the Philippines, good luck with that one too...you will waste your time with that . seriously it took more than 3 weeks of calls emails and writing bad reviews to get the most rude response I have ever seen or received. I am still waiting for them to return the money they took from my bank account which Dover branch said they couldn't explain and to call their customer service line..Europe Car...scam artists that are infiltrating a company loop hole and who are taking money for fuel under false pretences and who do not inform clients. No wonder there considering a three week debacle talking to people who are incapable of doing their job correctly and within UK, European and international legal compliances..."DO NOT USE EUROPE CAR" I am vexed in case you did not notice. Next stop Martin Lewis and Watch Dog. Watch this space! Europe Car... NO 😠

Not very good service. I had booked a delivery of a car to an address that was not my permanent address. They only called me a few hours earlier to tell me they couldn’t do that and that i’d have to take a cab. I understand there is a clause in the T&C but talking to a human robot that just repeats the same sentence over and over again without trying to help is very sad. Especially when they call just a day before

I had a good experience with this office. The lady Kerry helped me out with a new van after Enterprise confiscated my van for no reason. She even stayed later than her shift to make sure I got it and I was on my way to Amsterdam in no time. Very helpful and I would use them again

Always enjoy doing a vehicle change, fast turn around excellent service.. shame central doesn't keep new cars at site, they have to bring in cars from airport and other locations.. returned to change my vehicle to a new vehicle and include extra driver, staff so relaxed, in and out 15 minutes
But I have been a regular customer for many many years. Dover you rock

Pre-booked vehicle but it wasn't ready when I arrived ("we're short of drivers" is suddenly my problem rather than theirs). Took 20 mins to even get served because the one person in front of me found damage on his hire car that wasn't on the paperwork. Horrible experience. Car itself was fine.

I have heard that Europcar is not reliable, but decided to give it a chance. Bad idea, they not only gave me an automatic when I booked a manual, but then they charged me extra for one line of petrol, that if they could have addressed this at the moment of returning the car, I would have been happy to go to the petrol station around the corner to top it up. Instead, I found out on my credit statement that they charged me £42 pounds extra for just one line of petrol missing. The worst part is that when I made an actual complaint, I received a very condescending message from the company saying that I actually returned the car late (which is not true) and that they where so kind as not to charge me the extra day. I will most definitely hire from them again and I will go back to Enterprise, even if sometimes is more expensive. At least I don’t get extra charges as a surprise.

The company I work for set up a commercial account for a short-term van lease with Europcar. We received the vehicle from this branch in an appalling state, with large dents on most of the panels and poor body repairs.

The vehicle turned up 3 hours late, after initially being delivered to the wrong address. If it had arrived at our offices within business hours we would have rejected it.

It's been six weeks since I lodged a complaint and the only correspondence we've had from Europcar is when they sent an invoice out. When you do manage to get hold of someone at Europcar 'customer services' they tell you to email again.

DO NOT RENT/LEASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
