SIXT Car Hire - London Gatwick

Friendly staff. Easy to find the car. Car was good. No problems. Car could have been better cleaned. Charged 40 pounds administrative fee for paying a parking fine I wasn't aware of. Could have been less. Will use Sixt again.

Simply the best, they saved my vacation from an ugly start after Enterprise Car Rental declined my reservation because I was a few hours late due to flight delays. Raksha and Sandor showed empathy and care as I was with my wife and 2 kids, 5 and 7 years old and had to travel to Portsmouth from Gatwick that evening. On return the staff that received our car was so polite and use his money to get us a trolley for our luggage. I am so grateful for your care. Blessings to you all.

Great car in absolutely perfect condition. I felt the car was well looked after and not “just” a rental car. Having rented other cars with other companies, this hasn’t always been the case so it’s worth mentioning. All staff were friendly and well prepared, especially Nayel at vehicle return who went the extra mile by making sure I remembered the coat I’d left on the back seat.

Overall good experience. Branch staff helpful, however when I returned my car they didn’t check it in until the next day resulting in me being invoiced for an extra day of hire - check your invoice they send!! Fortunately, when I called sixt customer service they very quickly corrected my invoice to the correct amount and overall I am satisfied with my rental experience and would still recommend.

This was our first time using Sixt, and we will definitely be back. The guys at Gatwick were very friendly and efficient, and the free upgrade to an Audi A1 automatic was a nice touch. The car was spotlessly clean, and was a pleasure to drive. The full to full policy on the fuel takes the guesswork out of refilling the car too.

Rainwater leaked into the car through the lights in the ceiling. It rained for 5 days of our trip, so two seats were unusable because they were so wet. The headlights had a brightness dial with 4 levels of brightness, but it was broken with the lights on the lowest setting pointing down at an angle. I couldn’t see more than 5 meters in front of me at night driving through the English countryside. It was very dangerous. I booked a 6+ suv for small kids, and was given a massive 8 seat van without a backup camera. The car needed an oil change at pick up. The staff was friendly and polite on pick up. Unmanned drop off so no one to talk to on drop off about rain issue.

Helpful and friendly staff. The facilities are clean, neat and easy to find. I rented from South Terminal, all rentals are operating there during the pandemic. Brand new fleet of cars with an ample selection.

I have always recommended Sixt wherever I travel to within UK and worldwide. It was a really nice gesture when I was upgraded to a 4-door Mini; it happens to me quite often when I rent from Sixt Gatwick.
