OCS Automotive Engineering

OSC have kept my historic touring car going for the last 3 seasons. They have done everything from rescuing my old Vauxhall VX 4/90's gearbox from falling to bits through to complete engine rebuilds, including steel main bearing caps and mega thin bore sleeving, alloy cylinder head gas-flowing and fitting of larger valves through to ultimately making a complete new gearbox fit the old VX lump. With the patience and guidance of OCS the development of the engine and drivetrain would have been a real pain - with them it was, and continues to be, great fun!
Nothings a problem because they've probably done it all before.

Absolutely on the ball when it comes to engine work they are all over it. What does quality cost, not as much as you think. A rebore is not just a rebore, OCL will ensure bores are square and parallel to each other and vertical to the crank plane. They will use your instruction and if it differs from the norm will ask for written clarification, they do not give the usual comment ''we know what we are doing'' OCS know every piston is different and will treat every piston individually, what more could you ask for.
I use them myself, and recommend them, and in the past 5 years never had any comeback.

Very please with the work carried out, but not impressed by the customer service I received when collecting my motorcycle barrel that had been rebored today (16/08/2022).
On asking if the barrel had been honed after the rebore the guy looked at me as if I was an idiot and said, 'its been done properly'.
I replied I wasn't questioning whether it had been done properly, did I use the wrong terminology? He just stared at me and said nothing.
I was just asking a question, as a customer I think I'm allowed to do that.
Not impressed!!
