I've been using Wicken 4X4 since March 2019 to look after my Range Rover and make some modifications to our Defender 90. I have found them to be highly knowledgeable and professional. They really know Land Rovers, even Marshalls Cambridge said they send the more difficult issues to Wicken 4X4. I have used them for servicing, MOT, repairs (replace the brakes and the alternator on the Range River) modifications, they waxyoiled the Defender and fitted LED lights. On each occasion they have been excellent. Thanks to Ollie and the team, great work.

What Oliver and his team don’t know about Range / Landrovers isn’t worth knowing. They’re extremely helpful and very competitively priced. They also have a mindset of fix it if at all possible, rather than replace, saving the customer’s money. I would give six stars if it were an option.

October 2020. Upside vehicle was eventually fixed but took eight weeks, only once out of five calls did i get a callback.I did not put any pressure on time scale or constantly call them, just once a week. Had to spend a couple of hours fitting parts back that had been left dangling. Still waiting for an email response to a complaint four weeks later, given up as thye have had the money. Used them about 18 years ago for a repair to an lpg disco, that wasnt a happy experience either. Lessons learned.

We have just had the Coolant changed in our Zoe ZE40 at Wicken 4x4 at a total cost of £127.50 all in. They are a HEVRA approved garage. Saved us a fortune over the £399.00 quoted by our 2 local Renault Dealers. It took 2 hours and we went for a lovely walk down to Wicken Fen...from the garage to the Wicken Fen visitors centre is just over half a mile or 15 minutes. After picking the car up we drove 2 miles to a great riverside pub called the "Five Miles From Anywhere No Hurry Inn" and spent some of the savings. All in all a great day out and saved £242......result!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We asked this garage to remove two side windows from our van and replace them with new ones that we provided. We got the van back and both windows leaked so we returned to the garage for another go. Now we've realised they've sealed over the drainage holes so now we have water unable to escape from the window and leaking into the van. They had our van for about 3 weeks, it took a lot of chasing for any updates/communication, and charged us a small fortune for it. Stay clear, take your vehicles somewhere else.

A note on the response below: we were told the window hole was too big and therefore made it the process tricky but we were not told the drainage holes were sealed over and that the windows would always cause a leak into the van. This is not something we would have accepted. In future, just leave a gap in the sealent for the water to drain out. We had to spend a long time cutting away the sealent to give the water somewhere to escape.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Not going into massive detail but had an engine rebuilt due to suspected damaged piston rings, took 4 weeks with no updates without constantly chasing them, engine ended up worse than when they received it! Engine started to violently shake and misfire, gave them opportunity to fix it again but was told it was out of there warranty period of 3k miles (had 3.3k) and also told I used oil that was to good quality after being told to change it after 500 miles?? Engine also wasn’t removed from the vehicle so I can’t see how it was actually rebuilt! A lot of lying and misleading situations.

I supplied parts from rough trax 4x4, mechanic fitted new head gasket incorrectly and I was blamed for supplying the parts and charged for new head gasket and labour! Contacted roughy trax and they have never had a head gasket fail they’ve supplied after fitment (that they no about)

£3000 for total rebuild and then I had to pay £3000 to have someone else replace it after wicken 4x4 had messed it up even more!

I ended up selling the vehicle, so have now decided to leave this review!

I went to Wicken to have a clutch kit fitted and to have a clunking noise fixed on my Honda CR-V. The lady on the phone was really helpful and asked the right questions before she booked me in.
They couldn't guarantee it was gonna be done the same day but eventually they did it.
They gave me a good price, kept me updated the whole time, everything was explained and all my questions were answered. My car's working fine now and I can only recommended this garage.
