MiniBitz "the classic car garage"

They are the best garage ever to work on my Mini ('97 classic shape). They've always done excellent work and often done a little extra favour if it's something that won't take them 2 minutes in the course of the job. I am a faithful customer after the bad work other garages have done in the past just because they're not familiar with the quirks of Minis.

Edit: I just wanted to add that in the event that I have had a bit of poor work back (it happens to the best of us) the management were mortified and have bent over backwards to put it right again. I'd rate 6 out of 5 if I could.

Had my mini cooper s serviced by these very knowledgeable people. My car was inspected during service and fixed up all faults they found in the process.

Very chuffed with the work carried out on my car. Trust worthy garage with people who love what they do not to mention paying attention to detail.

Recommended you won't be disappointed. they also branded my car with the mini bitz logo looks pretty awesome.

Another BIG commercial garage wanted over £900 to fix my car... a friend recommended Mini Bitz so I took it there... they fixed, serviced, repaired welded and MOT etc, at a FRACTION OF THE COST, and in record time. The guys at Mini Bitz are so genuine, I cannot fault them. Highly recommend... (and in case you are wondering... I am not related to them, and no one has paid me to be nice about them. Ha Ha)

Terrible. Booked car in 2 weeks I advance for a service and MOT. Dropped off at 9.30 (although they didn't open up til 10) got a call 4 hours later to say they couldn't do MOT (no apology) Also broke a bit of Windshield trim. Booked for the MOT 2 weeks later only for them not to turn up or open at all. No phone call to let us know. After an hour of waiting we gave up (another customer tracked down a mobile and then got a reply saying they weren't opening) no notice, no call, no customer service and my MOT will now be out of date meaning I can't drive my car until I get it sorted. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Avoid at all costs. Never again.

What a gem of a place. A real old school garage where they know their stuff around classic cars. Had some welding work done on my moggy and new leaf springs, MOT and rear seat belts fitted. The work has been done to a really high standard and a very competitive price. I wouldn't trust any other garage with my moggy and will only use MiniBitz in the future.

The only place I will allow to work on my mini's.

After a great first visit i booked my car back in for this friday at 3pm. I arrived early,as the shop was locked up i rang and left messages,sent messages via facebook, i waited until 3.30 and nobody had arrived, i live 40 minutes drive away and wasted my afternoon,would have been nice to have a mobile number to contact or at least be left a message to advise you weren't open, no contact the following day,real shame to be treated this way.

Sorted out our 2000 Mini Cooper Sport after a Orbit gave an MOT failure sheet as long as your arm! Professional and no-nonsense approach, proper traditional mechanic that doesn't need a laptop to find out what is wrong with a car. Highly recommended :)
