Engine light showed up on the car after having a gear box alert. Rang LVS straight away and they had an idea what it would be. I had my car recovered to LVS where they managed to get a diagnostic on it even though they were fully booked that day and confirmed the problem was what they suspected.
The problem was rather major and LVS were very helpful with explaining the detail behind the issue and getting it resolved as quickly as they could. Very good service from all the staff at LVS and I will be certainly continue to take my car there.

I use LVS for most of the work on my vehicles. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Their work is of an excellent standard. Customer service is second to none, they keep you regularly informed of progress. Highly recommended.

An intermittent fault showed up on the dash of my Skoda: did I have a problem with my ABS and steering or not?
As the car is mainly used for the school run I didn’t want to be driving the kids around in a potential death-trap so I phoned the dealership for advice. Really uninterested and I would have to wait three weeks for a diagnostic. Really? Out of desperation I booked in. ‘Do you have a loan car as the kids can’t get home without me?’
No, no loan car and neither could I wait at the garage for the diagnostic to be carried out. If I wanted a loan car the appointment would now be in four weeks time. For a potential emergency this seemed ridiculous but out of no options, I grudgingly made the appointment and could hear the bored sighing from the person taking the booking. Panic started to rise, having to make multiple decisions as to how I was going to do this and provide the daily taxi service.
In the clear light of a new day and with the lights on the dash off again, I googled a few independent garages and came across LVS AG but was a bit put off by the location from my house, echoes of not being able to wait and no loan car kicking around my head.
But for once, my courage in shopping around was rewarded with a nice surprise? An engaged conversation with LVS who immediately booked me in the following week for a diagnostic at the first opportunity as they understood my worry about the brakes. A loan car? No worries, one will be available. I booked in immediately and cancelled the other appointment with the dealer.
I was a little apprehensive about going to LVS after my experience with the local dealership over the years. I don’t want to go into detail but as a female, had felt undervalued and patronized at the dealership.
LVS treated me fairly and provided a great service. The work they did on the Skoda was to the penny what they quoted, the work was carried out quickly on both occasions and the repair to the ABS sensor means I feel like safe mum/taxi again.
A long review, but I think there will be someone just like me out there fed up with having terrible customer experiences at the local dealership and this might encourage them to jump ship and have a happier experience.

I have used LVS AG Ltd for my Audi and my mother in law's Polo for many years and always found them to be helpful and courteous. They manage to book the cars in when needed and have provided a hire car if necessary. I am certainly happy to recommend LVS.

I've been using LVSAG since 2018 to service and maintain my 2017 VW Transporter T6 204 DSG and would like to say that Pat, Dan and team have a great knowledge of VW vehicles, products and automotive processes, if it's a simple service you require or in my last case an intermittent fault which they investigated and diagnosed with ease and resolved you are in safe hands, also to add to the experience they have new courtesy vehicles available if required.
They offer an independant VW service experience which I believe far exceeds main dealerships and I would now not go elsewhere for my VW needs and so would highly recommend them.

What a hidden gem LVS are. We've had a refreshing and brilliant experience with the whole team from start to finish today. Their customer service is second to none, knowledgeable, professional, efficient and courteous.
We needed a cambelt change on a GTE. The work was carried out at half the price of a main dealer with genuine listed VW parts used.

Fantastic service from start to finish. LVS was able to get me booked in for the very next day to try and diagnose a rumbling noice coming from the front of my car.
It turned out to be my front wheel bearings that had gone, both bearings changed within the same day. Car is now running nice and quiet.
All at half the price of a main dealer!

Out of town location but loan car available if needed for reasonable cost. Great service and advice offered on problem with a Touareg. Highly recommended.
