Surrey DPF cleaning

I am not one for using this platform and giving feedback but as I found this company online (Surrey DPF) I just thought I would share my experience with all.

My experience from start to finish was great, Tom was very professional and informative throughout all of the work that was carried out to my car.

I highly recommend this garage if you require an honest diagnosis and fix to your DPF issues.

Diagnostics,Glow-plugs replacement, module change, swirl flaps and DPF regeneration.

Our vehicle had been everywhere to get repaired different companies cleared the fault did a regen and sent us on our way. Tom fully investigated the issues took the extra time to service it fully and made sure all faults were cleared. He also followed up to make sure they were gone and check if we had passed our MOT. As a coach travel company we deal with plenty of mechanics I have never met one with the care and attention that Tom has.

Quite simply the best if you need your DPF issues resolved this is the place to go. 5 star's are thrown out easily these days but this guiy really is the best at what he does!

I contacted Tom after a quote from BMW for a DPF replacement came in at 75% of the value of the vehicle. Tom was very easy to deal with from the moment I contacted him, and was very patient in explaining the options available to me and how things would proceed. After much to and fro due to my indecision, I booked the car in. Tom was super accommodating in terms of when I could drop my vehicle off and collect again. Tom kept me informed of his findings with very clear and open explanations which quickly settled my anxiety over how to proceed. I am very pleased with the work Tom did and I feel the price was very fair, indeed much less than the quote from BMW. Tom showed me the old parts and pictures of various stages of the work performed. The car drives superbly! I thoroughly recommend Tom as a super-genuine guy who knows his stuff! Thanks Tom!

I contacted Tom straight after a main dealer quoted me £4K+ for a DPF replacement on my 2014 Nissan X-Trail. It was seriously blocked… Following diagnostics, Tom provided a very detailed quote as the car required more than just the DPF cleaning which I was aware of. The work was carried out very promptly and I was always kept up to date. The necessary bits were replaced, DPF cleaned and the car runs so much better than it has in years! Tom took the time to run me through the “Bag of bits” which had been replaced and how all the various things had probably led to the DPF being blocked. I would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

Very professional service and a really nice friendly guy, very helpful, punctual and delivers on what he says. No messing about, straight in and got the job done with updates and always being kept in the loop with progress. Pleasure to do business with Tom, and would definitely recommend him and use him again. 5 star 👍

Fantastic, efficient service.

I came across Tom after doing a lot of research into finding someone who has a good knowledge in fixing DPF problems after having been to several garages in the past and was only ever given short term quick fixes at significant cost.

As echoed by other reviews Tom is extremely knowledgable, friendly and honest. He managed to fix the problem and gave lots of tips for preventing issues in the future.

Tom was recommended to me by another mechanic as I had issues with my DPF and needed a specialist. The minute I met him I had full confidence with everything he said needed doing. The works was done quickly and efficiently.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting a review. I needed to give the van a few thousand miles to make sure the issue was definitely fixed. Having been bounced around a few garages who said they could fix the fault, and then couldn't, I found Tom and gave him a call. I had multiple DPF and warning light issues that has cost me quite a bit of money over the previous weeks. Tom was great - he diagnosed the fault other garages had missed and his communication was superb. He explained the problem and how he was going to go about fixing it. A couple of days later I picked the van up all fixed. It's now done just over 2,000 since he worked on it and all is perfect again - fuel economy has returned to normal, no warning lights etc. Other garages were telling me I needed a new pdf costing thousands. Tom isolated the problem to a couple of faulty components and fixed the issue at a fraction of the cost. If you have any pdf issues, take it to Tom, he's the man. 100% recommended.
