In my experience Tony Page / Page Automotive Ltd are a terrible and untrustworthy outfit.

In Sept 2022 they were contracted to rebuild my classic Mk2 Jag engine and do some other repairs to the car.

They insisted on taking a £3000 deposit from me and took possession of the car in Sept 2022 and told me it would done in 6 weeks.

In ~5 months they only managed to take the engine out of the car.

The reasons given for the delays kept shifting - (first crank shaft issue, then funeral attendance, then Tony's brother not being avail to do the work, then Tony's technician not being in work then crank shaft again)

I think Tony kept forgetting what excuse he'd given me one week to the next!

Contrary to our agreement the tracker showed that they had left my classic Jag outside uncovered for months over winter and when I saw the car at their premises the wire wheels were rusted and the car full of moisture.

In the end after refusing to do the work by end of Feb I had to take my car back so the work could be done by others. It was in pieces with nothing labelled. We're now going through to find out what's missing or broken.
Tony didn't even return the car keys to me.

Tony / Page Automotive have accepted in writing that they owe the majority of £3000 deposit back but they still haven't returned it to me! No good reason for the delay in returning my money.

So they've taken money in good faith to do a job then not done the job but spent the money on something else.

I'm now being forced to take them to court to recover my money and other losses from them.

Had aircon service today, very efficient service by Tony 👍
