Would give 0 stars if I could. Definitely would not recommend Andy’s Auto Repairs. WILL BE REPORTING TO THE DVSA.

Took my car in for an MOT and service and asked them to look at my tyres as I kept slipping on the road. Also asked them to look at my steering wheel as it was shaking. During the day, I was rung to be told I needed a new inner steering rod and 2 new tyres. They said a third tyre needed changing as it was ‘near the limit’ but they couldn’t do that today. I asked how much time I had left on this tyre and they said they would measure it and let me know. Was told the car would be ready at 5:30pm so turned up at that time. When I got there, saw my car on the ramp with no tyres on. I waited over an hour for them to finish it and when I was paying, Tony said the third tyre they had mentioned needed doing at some point in the future actually needed doing ‘sooner rather than later’ as it was close to the limit. Tony also said they had swapped this tyre to the back of the car from the front. One of the mechanics, Liam, said my steering wheel would be wonky when I got in the car and I would ‘find it odd’ but I could pay someone else to fix that as they don’t do tracking. Got in my car to find the steering wheel at a 70 degree angle when driving straight. When I was driving it home, I was still losing grip on the road. Ended up having to pay another garage to change the third tyre and check the work they had done. They couldn’t fit me in until the next week so I was driving the car until then. This garage said the third tyre that Tony had said was ok and the one Tony had let me drive away with was ‘so far past the limit that it was incredibly dangerous’. He had also found that my inner steering rack had been fitted poorly. What had already cost me £320 at Andy’s Auto Repairs then cost me another £300 at the other garage to get fixed. What is absolutely worse is that they sent a young girl driving out with a car in a condition like that. My dad took the car to see Tony with pictures of the wheel he had allowed to be passed on an MOT and he was told by Liam that the car should not have passed the MOT with a tyre like that. Tony avoided speaking to my dad and has taken absolutely no responsibility for this. He said that he had not passed those tyres on an MOT, seeming to suggest I had bought some ruined tyres and put them on to make him look bad. Insultingly, he offered me a free MOT next time. My advice would be to STAY CLEAR OF THIS GARAGE. They have poor workmanship and clearly are careless. Will be reporting to the DVSA and trading standards.

Have used Andy's for a few years now with various cars. Wouldn't go anywhere else. They are quick , efficient and costs are reasonable. Never had any complaints and would highly recommend them.

Just had new cultch put onto my Kia Sportage and just wanted to share how fab his customers services was and how fast and reliable services he give use there did the job within the day very reasonable prices very happy customer and will use him all the time now to look after my car I will sure pass other customers his way too highly recommend you .

Oil black after an oil change checked as soon as I got home 1 mile away do not use this company.
