Good value, would use them again

Excellent service from Anthony and the team from start to finish, Unfortunately the vehicle had some problems that prevented a smooth sale but this is nothing that could have been foreseen by either myself or the company, as they were not common issues. Even still i was provided with a courtesy car off their own back (which they did not have to do) while the original car was looked over and they even made a 3+ hour journey to collect it from me when the sale was reversed.

All in all, despite the teething issues, I would still highly recommend Duncalf Motors as they are very thorough and will always keep you in the loop.

I took my Rav4 to Duncalf for a MOT - It failed 🙈 ! As a single older (!) woman at 54, I lack confidence and knowledge about cars and definitely about off side parking brakes!!

Nick (who runs the team) took the time to explain what was wrong, why it failed, which meant I had confidence in it being repaired, having a honest and professional job done is what matters to me .. £65.00 later the car was sorted and it passed!

It was a no - nonsense, helpful, trustworthy experience - and to be honest most appreciated.

If, like me, you want to feel well looked after, kept informed, have a good quality service, at a price and value you can trust, after the last two days of experience I would reccomend talking to Nick (and the owner) about what is needed for all types of repairs, service and MOT.

If it was up to me I wouldn't even give a star rating. Bought a vehicle with only two weeks M.O.T on it was told it was mechanically sound when unfortunately it failed its mot two weeks later. Recently broke down just a fortnight after warrenty had run out Duncalf offered to look at the vehicle on condition that I arranged and paid for transportation. if I Knew all this prior to purchase I would never have done business with the man very rude and obnoxious, once he's got your money he does not want to know I'd approach at your own risk.

My car failed the MOT (well it is 16 years old!) but the repairs, 2 new tyres and the MOT only came to £180 so I was delighted. They do not overcharge for things like wheel tracking like the big boys do.

Just a quick review of these guys. I never do reviews but on this occasion I felt it necessary to do so.
My mum had her car towed to them the other day.
She was very concerned about who her car had been taken to as she's an OAP and not well versed in such things. Her husband who she lost recently dealt with car stuff.
The garage phoned her to say her car was fixed and another issue was apparent.
They asked if she wanted them to fix it to which she said yes.
They told her the bill was around £175 pounds.
My mum misheard and thought they said £1750 to which she replied. "It's ok. I'm used to cars costing so much"
Their reply was "haha, no its £175. If I could charge that every time I'd be a millionaire"
Point is, they could have easily taken advantage of the situation, given her age, but didn't.
My mum said "That's great news. Now I can get out and do some much needed shopping" to which they replied. "If you give us a list we'll do your shopping for you" !!!
What can I say? Such genuine service and consideration above and beyond has left me dumbstruck.
Massive respect and thanks to Duncalf motors.
You are a rare breed in this day and age and I thank you so much for your kindness.

Give these guys as much business as you can.
They clearly deserve it.

Broke down outside his shop just before closing time. 100 miles from home and no idea where I was. Owner came out, checked my car and told me what the problem was which was no quick fix. Very kindly moved my car to a safer location whilst I waited for a tow truck. A real gentleman. Thank you so much for your help.
