Carfix Wales

After an temperamental electrical issue that resulted in my Peugeot 308 not starting, I approached the dealership I got it from. After going round and round in (expensive) circles, and being no closer to fixing the problem, I was getting desperate.

I found Gary, following a Google search, and reached out. He took time to understand the problem, over the phone, and was honest and upfront of what I could expect. I dropped the car in and he found the fault within an hour, after running some diagnostics. Then after ordering a new part in a few days later, he fitted that within two. Problem solved!

It's been over a week and the car has started up every time with no issues for the foreseeable - thank you Gary!

Can't recommend his knowledge, service and standard of work enough. Great value and experience. If I could give more stars I would!

Gary was 👌 awesomely helpful. We were on holiday when our alternator broke down completely together with the poly ribbed aux belt. He sorted it for us at minimal cost as well sorting out a taxi for my disabled wife. Revd Canon Wallace Brown

Not all superheroes wear capes. I cannot recommend CarFix Wales enough. I was leaving a wedding ceremony to get to the reception when my electronic parking brake wouldn’t release. The RAC came out (after 5 hours!) and couldn’t help me. But Gary could. Gary took my car apart in the car park, found the problem, made it safe to drive back to his workshop. I was 4.5 hours away from home and stuck with no transport and a dog. He drove me home and the next morning I got a call, superhero Gary had fixed my car. He’d even washed the outside. I am now able to drive home safe and all because Gary went above and beyond. I will always be grateful. Cannot recommend them enough.

Every town needs a Carfix and every town certainly needs a Gary! What an honest and reliable chap. I had to call on Gary’s expertise whilst on my honeymoon in Wales and was worried about finding somewhere reliable and trustworthy that wouldn’t take a holidaymaker for a ride. Gary got hold of the parts and got me booked in record time. Nothing was too much trouble and he got me and my family back on the road in no time. I honestly can’t thank him enough for making sure our car was safe again to enable us to enjoy our holiday and still be able to visit all the places we had planned. I wish I had a Carfix back at home, it would hands down be my go to for servicing/mots and any motoring needs. Thank you so much Gary.

Gary is the best mechanic you'll be sure to find, great communication, he is ever so friendly & managed to fit me in and get the job done all within one day. Impeccable service as always!

We were on holiday in Aberporth and our car broke down. We called Gary and he had our car straight in the workshop. After plugging in his computer he quickly identified the issue and fixed it for less than £10.00. So we asked him to do a full service and check the whole car from top to bottom. Amazing chap and exceptional service, we’ll come back on holiday again just to see him! 🥰

I can highly recommend Gary after requiring his expertise myself, was the last day of our holiday and we were set to drive the 200 miles back home, could of easily exploited us but was refreshingly honest with the problem; showing me exactly what went wrong and what I can do to fix the issue when I got back home. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a problem free journey, checking my oil levels and filling my screen wash back up, shame I don’t live in Wales because I would definitely use his garage for more work.
