Smart Wash

This automatic car wash did a great job although not the cheapest around. As a first time user, it take me a while to work out how to use it. Having not bought a ticket from the adjacent petrol station, I opted to pay by contactless card, but it was not obvious how to get started. Then I noticed a touch screen display above the other controls - quite high; I had to get out to stand and reach. Having selected my desired programme and paid successfully, and seeing the forward arrows light up on the car wash, I drove in and waited 5 minutes trying to get the wash to start. Having phoned the petrol station for advice, I reversed back and acknowledged the on screen terms and conditions on the touch screen and back in. Still no joy. Reversed out and this time saw I still had to press Start on the touch screen.
Well, I will know for next time. It didn't detract from the excellent wash quality and I will return.

Very easy to use.

They don't do debit card payments. I only found out when I got to the car wash part that you have to get a token from the store. Plus, difficult to find the entrance.
