No major issue with this place but I've been coming here years now, and I've never known prices to go up so quickly £20 seems alot for 15mins work?! I think £15 is much more acceptable being as cars need washing often....its becoming a price where ppl will start washing their own cars as money is tight for most.

They did a great job cleaning my car. I drive a Toyota CHR and was charged for a large. The place does look like somewhere out of Mad Max, but it's a car wash not a cafe. Rottweiler was pretty friendly and behind a large fence FYI

If a stocky Rottweiler dog on the forecourt doesn’t scare you, then you'll be in for a treat!
I used this carwash after a recommendation by a car body specialist a few roads away.

I bought a used vehicle in the lockdown and since the seller couldn't get it valeted, the car was in a poor state with a few mould patches.
After being advised that the company had the capacity to full valet and clean mould, I took the car to them and after assessment, agreed a fee of £75.

I had difficulties in speaking to the lead cleaner because he wasn’t fluent in English and later a friendly young man - possibly the owner’s son, assumed the role of translator. I pointed out the areas that I wanted them to focus on, to which they seemed to not pay much attention to, interrupting me with the “darling, we know what we’re doing... best in East London... we’ll look after you” type of talk.
We began to work out the logistics and it was suggested that leaving the car at 10am and returning at 7pm would be enough time for the job.
Mid-discussion with me and as the translator shouted instructions to people behind him, cleaners began to clear my boot and car seats to a shabby, unsupervised area on their premises. I was concerned but embarrassed to change my mind, thinking that we had already entered an agreement by this point.
I reluctantly left my keys, and headed home thinking 100 what ifs.

On my return, the car appeared clean. Although it didn’t smell fresh (probably due to no usage of fragranced chemicals which I must say is unheard of). The man admitted that they didn't normally use any air fresheners.
He let me walk around to inspect the car and you bet I did.
Starting with the inside, the guy quickly approached me and arrogantly shouted to me that my heaters are “rubbish - no good” and that the car is only 60% dry. I reached for the carpet to feel for myself but before making contact I could see already the thin layer of water above the carpet line.
It was a sunny day, and my heating was on blast. I couldn’t believe it, but I moved on, forced a smile, took a deep breath and continued my inspection. “Don’t worry, keep your heater on and in few hours, it will dry” said the man.
Moving to the back, I pointed out that the seat pockets behind the driver and passenger seats had not been touched and were still full of mouldy trash. The guy got flustered and mumbled something while grabbing the mess with his bare hands and then wiping down with his cloth.
I pointed out that there was mould that we agreed they would clean, and to my surprise he laughed and said “darling, we tried already but this needs bleach - it doesn’t go away”. I try to remind him that he had only just touched the area for the first time before my very eyes but he could not care less and walked off to check his phone. The dog started to pace up and down, and became unsettled.
I opened the bonnet and the leaves that had moved in 6 months ago had not been touched, the boot was soaked and certain areas on the seats still had crumbs. At that moment I accepted that I was “robbed” and convinced myself that the dog had probably purposely not been fed and would eat me!
I paid, left and cried all the way home.
When my husband heard about what happened, he suggested we return after waiting a few days to see if it would dry.
We aimlessly tried different solutions - just think, begging friends with garden floor flats, extension leads, hair driers, fan heaters, windows down driving, windows ajar when parked but nothing worked!
We made a plan to return and kindly request a partial refund to offset the cost of trying somewhere else, so I went back a few days later but the guy laughed and also blamed me. He even had the audacity to tell me to return in the morning for a £10 fee so he could use a fan heater. Of course I declined and left, scared and upset.

To my horror, days later the car developed more mould and an unpleasant smell.
Frustrated, I mustered the courage, returned and assertively requested a solution. £20 + a free outside wash were all I managed to get.
