Thorpe Hand Car Wash

Left the car with them for 2 hours, came back, they took £35 from me and when I checked the car it had only had a pre wash, he then argued the toss over the fact my car was still dirty with smudges on the windscreen and bugs still on the front bonnet. It had not seen a whiff of wax...Dodgy timewasting ripoff merchants !

I started to use this car wash for couple of time and I am not happy at all. Rough staff, never clean properly. Make sure you check if your car is cleaned as promised and check the price on the board before you pay.

Reluctant to clean up bits you can see they have missed. Dont clean under car seats either so beware. Also quite rude upon my experience. The ones at chertsey and Staines are better. It's quite expensive aswell compared to the others. A normal 4 door saloon is £16 for just hoover inside and wash outside but this does not include wiping and cleaning inside of your door or centre console just the dash area and even that was not done well at all. I use the one at Staines usually even though I live in egham and there is £15 for 4 door saloon car and that includes doors and everything and they do a good job and people are alot more pleasant.

If I could give them no stars I would!! Didn't see a cloth in the interior just vacuumed. No air freshener!! Alloys are still dirty and had the cheek to charge 14 quid my usual place charges 12 and it's emaculate! Real shame we have a fleet if cars around the corner that would use this service!!

I was amazed at the level of cleaning as I had not washed my car for almost 4 months.

Edit: owner contacted me shortly and offered a free wash. I don't live locally, but appreciate the gesture.

Looked promising, but for £25 this is the worst finish I've got in a while. Car wasn't even washed properly as smudges of road grime left on the boot and sides, windows inside got cleaned with some greasy microfibre, all smudged.

Great car wash. Friendly. And don't scratch my car like the one at the Shell Garage nearby .
