IMO Car Wash

Exellent car wash, really ideal for time saving and convenience. Washes range from as low as £3 and upwards to £15. 6 different wash options to select from, depending on personal preference and car type.

This is a really good person operated/automated car wash. The results are always good. There are often queues but you never have to wait for mare than 7/8 mins.

Price 15 is for inside only. Miss leading special offer.
The outside wash was good though.

New owners since end of pandemic. Service slow. They did not want to accept card in the begining so lost a lot of customers. Not as busy or friendly as they used to be. Bad at dealing with complaints. I won't pay by cash here as am worried that the cash would disappear or fund something illegal. Also ask for a VAT receipt. Remember your paying 20% to the tax man for your wash. Make sure he gets it

I ordered the £12 wash, it's just not what I'd expect, many many unreached spots still covered in salt and grime

Attended today for a Super Mini Valet advertised at £15 on a special deal, regular price £25. Deal includes everything listed on the photo. Was told 30-45 mins. I went for a coffee and cane back 45 mins later and the man was hoovering. He said "don't worry I've only got to wipe the dashboard and then I'm done". I looked at the car and the wheels were still black, bird poo on the bonnet and clearly not cleaned outside. So I said "what about the outside?". He replied "you wanted the £15 valet". "Yes" I said "the one advertised on that sign". He replied "it's £15 for the inside only and £25 for the full list". Clearly, that is not what the sign says. I argued this with him but he insisted that the £15 was for the inside only. I looked inside the car and saw that he'd done a very poor hoovering job. None of the door wells had been cleaned and the boot had not been touched. So I said "are you telling me it's £15 to literally hoover the floors and wipe the dashboard?". Without a shred of embarrassment he said "yes and if you want the full mini valet it's £25 plus £4 for the wash". I told him that he was wilfully misleading people with this advertising and I would never pay £15 just to have my car hoovered. I also said "if it's only the inside, why has it taken you 45 minutes?". At this point he threw my mats on the floor in a puddle and said "if you're not happy then just go". So I left without paying. When I got home and had a good look at the car I could see that he'd barely touched it inside. Outside was obviously not touched at all. Very clear false advertising on the sign regarding the offer and the extra charge for a wash. Also no explanation of the extra charge (or the £15 indoor/£25 outdoor) prior to commencing.
How can they advertise that they chamois dry the car (included in the valet) without first washing it (apparently not included)? Definite scam. Reported to trading standards. Avoid this company.

I always use IMO car wash services, but was very disappointed to find starting prices are now £4.50 upwards. Clearly advertised at £2.99.
